  1. Hi there I modify my Archer 1, this is how it looks now.... it's easier to balance and still folds down...., the little set screw sholdn't come loose that easy in the arm post, the other screw is for adjusting the rotation of the post, you can lock it..

    Cheers.. Oscar

Seen it once before, but it just never gets old, what an awesome looking sled, would love to see the step by step of how you did that, and know what parts you used, I have half an idea with the front section and the monitor arm, but not sure what parts the back section are, from another sled or...?

Either way, awesome custom job you did there.

Hi there... thanks, the modification was made by Howard Smith at MK-V USA, you can e-mail him at Howard@mk-v.com; The base is the Genesis and all you have to do is usea couple of parts from the old base; also cut the cables and re-attach the connectors..... the lemo, bnc and battery plate.

Good luck and Happy Holidays to you both.... :)

  3. Hello Antoine... I'm quite sure that when you bought your rig qand we openend the boxes I saw a complete Low Mode Kit... it contains the F-bracket and the handle clamp; and for the cage for the HDSLR you should check the "view factor Cage", it has the connectors and plenty of holes and space to mount monitors, audio receivers, transmitters and maybe your lunch :) :), (just kidding. Good to hear from you again... Mon ami....

    Hi,

Guys, I'm a newbie and I would like to know if you have any recommandations about a zoom control to buy for a steadicam? Also can someone tell me more about low mode? I have the F-bracket but which camera handle/grip assembly should I get? Keeping in mind that I will fly mostly HD cameras but I would like to fly 16mm and 35mm cameras, as well. What is a locking aircraft style pin (sorry, I'm French :)?

Last question, do you recommend to buy a practice cage in order to operate a Canon 5D?

Please let me know, thank you very much.
