  2. Hi Tom, still hanging on shelf at my workshop! Did you notice I'mlocated in France? I could fedex it up to you. Probably not that expensive. Let me know
  3. I usually go for a slower drop time when working super low mode. Hand above the gimbal... I don't have any tips... Do as I can ;-)
  4. I own the same setup for many years now and it's a really great tool!! You can switch from stead to stick or handlheld in seconds! And no the camera is not too high. Great gear!!!!
  5. Been shooting there 2 times, brought my own equipment. I don't think they have rental houses providing big steadicam kits
  6. Betz-Tools sells this exact part you're missing to stickk the Sony Venice onto their steadicam dovetail plate
  7. Located in France! A plate dedicated to Arri Amira. You can mount 2 x 15mm rods on the front. Never used, only adding weight to my AKS case. Price new is 550€ Asking 300€ Buyer pays shipping IMG_7447.HEIC IMG_7446.HEIC IMG_7448.HEIC
  8. Located in France! Used it for 4 years, not a rental gear. Works just fine, not a screw missing. I changed the complete set of pads last year. Comes with the old ones as a spare. Spare waist locker + spare shoulder straps + Steadicam exovest Bag 3400€/ 4000$ Buyer pays shipping
  9. Located in France! V-mount! VL-4S model 4 channel simultaniously. Very good conditions. Only used by me. Mostly used as a spare by my ACs, so a lifelong in the camera truck. 500€/ 600 $ Buyer pays shipping
  10. Go check and dig on youtube, there's some vidéos shot by tiffen, explaining how to fix issues with the volt. Does this happen when the sled is on the balancing spud on your stand? Or when you're operating? If it's on the stand and you set all your settings to full power, the sled will act weirdly, and it's ok.
  11. Thank you very much Chris! My own experience with your vest and the X-Bone ends up pretty close to what you explain here. Good to have your advice on this because I always wonder why some op fly front mount an other fly backmount... Seems like there's not a big gap between those 2 setups though... Your explanations fits with my own experience, interesting!
  12. Chris, I would be glad to learn on this subject. If you have a minute please write down something here. I've been using your Exo front mounted for 4 years, and spent 6-9 more months back mounted with the Xbone.
  13. Yep, it's quite annoying, and for internet rookies like me, quite "scary". But seems like you have to go that way to connect here. Never seen this elsewhere.
  14. Spent 2 years on top of my sled, everything works great, electronic and mechanics. Located in France, Europe. 4000€/ 4600$ Buyers pay shipping
  15. Put more weight on your waist rather than your shoulder. Put your socket block as low as possible. Getting your vest as tighten as possible is a good start. But soon you'll appreciate to give room to your chest so you can breathe easier. Focus on trying to stand up straight, and let the weight flow down your back, through your legs. Yes, your vest positioning should give you the ability to raise your legs almost freely.
  16. Scout 37, as many other ops here in France. Beside the steadi aks kit, I added a set of handles on the rear, plus a drawer under the top shelf. After 3 years I have had to replace 2 sets of ball bearings. After 4 a crack appeared on my bottom shelf and I had to fix this too. My cart has travelled a lot and spent a good amount of time in camera trucks or uneven grounds. That's probably why I had those issues. Anyway, usefull piece of gear!
  17. Just bought one, not much have been sold yet. I'll let you know how it feels. Anyway, OS seems to be one of the most experienced rickshaw users and builders, their product should be great.
  18. Am I the only one leaving it on my cart, as he is on set? Just holding the lower part with a magic arm? Am I totally dumb or anyone else does the same?
  19. And I would love to come on set with a G70x beside my Pro arm!
