  3. good morning guys, I own an old modified video sk rig from the 90's that I use a lot as a running rig with modern lightweight cameras (canon 5d/7d) etc. my cheeseplate got lost while shipping and I desperately need a replacement.manufacturing a new one will be about 1200€ an will take weeks! Is there someone out there who owns spare parts(cheeseplate) for this ancient rig and would sell this item? thanks for your help, robert
  4. hello all, does anyone know who operated on "pride and glory" 2008 ? great work! can't find it on imdb..... thanks!
  5. hello to all interested collegues, as far as i know by now, it transmits only standard definition...... pics and prices will follow asap! rob
  6. the most important fact is,it`s possible to preset 16 channels on your own, each one tunable from 2,3ghz to 2,5ghz in 500 khz steps. so it`s easy to avoid interference with existing wireless lan networks. there will be another type with fixed 8 presets to confirm european laws. and it will be possible to boost the power from 80mw up to 1-2 watts. we already tried and tested the 1w module and were able to transmit image over 2,5 kilometers. working on 2,4 or 1.3 ghz. this system, both for film and video market will provide excellent image quality, regarding f-stop,framing etc. frame delay will be below 3 frames and it has got real tuner diversity not just antenna diversity. it will come with a new, revolutionary one-button- rotary -encoder for instant operation without reading the f....... manual and the option for software-branding for the purchaser, rental house etc. it will be a modular, rugged system, consisting of transmitters and receivers especially for steadicam in broadcast and filmbusiness.one real highlite about it will be a tft receiver-unit,handheld or for use in racks ,with the possibility of switching between up to 4 cameras with four simple buttons and a switching time below1/2 second. this is, what i posted 2 years ago, it still has the same specifications, but with some extra features and really beefy housings...... cheers, rob
  7. unfortunately, there is no website yet, they spent too much time and energy on developing and designing and just did not manage to put up a proper website...... www. krautvision.com is booked and blocked but no content. don't hesitate to call piet on his cellphone, he is always happy to tell you all facts about his product! cheers, rob

  9. hi all,i has been a little late yesterday. so i forgot some other main details of our new video transmitter system.... the most important fact is,it`s possible to preset 16 channels on your own, each one tunable from 2,3ghz to 2,5ghz in 500 khz steps. so it`s easy to avoid interference with existing wireless lan networks. there will be another type with fixed 8 presets to confirm european laws. and it will be possible to boost the power from 80mw up to 1-2 watts. we already tried and tested the 1w module and were able to transmit image over 2,5 kilometers. i think thats all for now... stay tuned rob
  10. hi brad, price for one system, including 1 transmitter and 1 receiver, case, will be about ?2500,- + shipping
  11. hello all, here`s some real good news concerning video transmitting technologies.... from late summer 07 we will start to introduce a brandnew true diversity video transmitter system, working on 2,4 or 1.3 ghz. this system, both for film and video market will provide excellent image quality, regarding f-stop,framing etc. frame delay will be below 3 frames and it has got real tuner diversity not just antenna diversity. it will come with a new, revolutionary one-button- rotary -encoder for instant operation without reading the f....... manual and the option for software-branding for the purchaser, rental house etc. it will be a modular, rugged system, consisting of transmitters and receivers especially for steadicam in broadcast and filmbusiness.one real highlite about it will be a tft receiver-unit,handheld or for use in racks ,with the possibility of switching between up to 4 cameras with four simple buttons and a switching time below1/2 second. in times of digital systems to come,we(a good friend of mine who is a broadcast engineer and steadicamassistant and me) decided to develop an analog system with superior performance, compared to modulus, canatrans e.g. for a very reasonable price. and engineered for real working conditions, both of us know very well.... right now,we`ve got the first system running, technicallywise, and we are on our way designing the housings. i`ll keep you informed about the progress, rob
  12. hello iceaficionados, i think i saw joerg widmer a few years ago in a rental house in berlin.on roller blades,in his rig! he did pretty good as i remember.seems to be quite similar to ice skates.but i don`t know if he ever did this on a job, although i know he did same strange setups, like riding on a horses back shooting steadicam etc.

  15. here in good old europe we used to have good old "ballistol"weapon oil, don`t know if it´s available all over the world but i`d guess so.excellent lubricating,no solvent or detergent and would not harm any kind of metal parts, plastics, rubber etc.and, first of all, perfect rust protection.just the smell of this stuff..... ;) just keep your hands off wd-40! best regards, rob
