I have a Live Show coming up and was wondering do operators include a Utility with their bid and does anyone have any Utilities they recommend in LA? Also, I have a Libec Zoom Control with the Bartec Utility Zoom box and was wondering how you live guys hook this up to do zooms on a Live shoot. Thank, Dan

Will it work on a MDR2? Thanks, Dan

Does anyone mount their Volt and MDR 2 to the PRO Donkey box 3? I know it could add vibration to the Volt control box, but I'd like to get the MDR back down on the donkey box.

Usually 5 years in this industry is a long time. Apparently the Dinosaurs are not extinct, maybe Sony is making us use it to resurrect it. What are people using for power, since it seems power hungry? Is there a preferred recording system? Dan

I actually read this but was hoping for something a little more current. Apparently nothing new!!!

Who's worked with the F65? I've just learned we are flying the F65 instead of the F55. Big difference it looks like. Any advice would be helpful. Dan Ayers

Is there still an issue with the monitor output on the F55? I have a Cinetronics 1 monitor and was wondering if anyone was using the F55 out of Keslow and do they have their standard power cage on it? Thanks, Dan

It has been sold. -
I'm spring cleaning and found a Steadicam mounting "Riser Unit" for a magliner cart. There is a bottom holder and a support with a bumper pad. They have never been used. Make me an offer! Dan Ayers danavision09@gmail.com

I'm trying to find a bracket that you can take the PRO Preston bracket dovetail ( donkey box 3 version) and just slide the dovetail right into a bracket on the camera in studio mode. Thanks, Dan

Alexa Plate... come and get 'em!
Dan Ayers replied to Eric Fletcher S.O.C.'s topic in Camera Stage/Donkey Box
Has anyone used the plates yet? How far forward will they allow you to move the camera? I've been having all kinds of problems with Alexa's having the balance all over the place. -

I've worked with two ASC D.P.'s who use "Frame" . They are "older" and both American, so maybe that is an "Old School" way of saying "Set". My favorite way to get the AD and Director on the page to wait until the camera is ready is after the Director calls "Action" when you haven't called "Set" is to call "Set" when I am "Set", usually on the first line of the Actors! Usually once is enough.
