  1. Item has been withdrawn. Thanks for your interest!
  2. I'm almost ready to start my retirement. Everything's gone except the sled. I purchased the Ultra 2 directly from Tiffen in the fall of 2007. It has performed incredibly well with every camera I was ever thrown; from 35's to digitals and even some truly unique early 3D prototypes. I've mostly been operating around the Toronto area and eastern Canada. Ultra 2 Sled (asking for $29,000 CAD) The sled is in excellent condition and has received upgrades to both the motorized stage and Ultrabrite2 monitor. Includes: Custom designed Top and Bottom weight plates (if desired) 2nd Docking Bracket for Low Mode operation 6 x PowerCube batteries w/ Quad Charger 2 x Power/Video cables for Monitor 2 x Power cables for cameras Many misc. other cables Thermodyne™, heavy duty, wheeled hard cases Please email me (peter@9054productions.com) if you'd like more details or have any questions.
  3. No, the vest has been sold.

  4. Everyone I've spoken to regarding the arm have indicated that they would probably send it into Tiffen to get the G-70x upgrade. Since that would effectively add some cost to purchasing my G-70, I'm going to drop the price to $12,500 CAD. I'll also pay for the shipping from Toronto to Tiffen if you intend to make the upgrade immediately.
  5. I'm going to drop the asking price for the Ultra 2 Sled to $29,000 CAD. I'm also going to lower the price for the G-70 Arm to $14,000 CAD. I've heard from several people about both items. Please don't hesitate to send me any questions or make an offer.
  6. The BFD has been spoken for. Thank you to everyone who inquired.
  7. After almost ten years of operating I've decided to hang up the rig and settle down with my new family. I purchased the Ultra 2 directly from Tiffen in the fall of 2007. It has performed incredibly well with every camera I was ever thrown; from 35's to digitals and even some truly unique early 3D prototypes. I've mostly been operating around the Toronto area and eastern Canada. I'd love to sell the complete package but I'd be willing to split things up since I imagine a lot of people will be looking at individual components as an upgrade. Ultra 2 Sled (asking for $32,000 CAD) The sled is in excellent condition and has received upgrades to both the motorized stage and Ultrabrite2 monitor. Includes: Custom designed Top and Bottom weight plates 2nd Docking Bracket for Low Mode operation 6 x PowerCube batteries w/ Quad Charger 2 x Power/Video cables for Monitor 2 x Power cables for cameras, misc. other cables Thermodyne™, heavy duty, wheeled hard cases G-70 Arm (asking for $16,000 CAD) The arm has never "bottomed", and is regularly cleaned and regreased. It still flies as smoothly as its first day of work. Ultra 2 Vest (asking for $3500 CAD) The fabric and velcro are in fantastic condition. I've cut away about an inch of the plastic panel so I can lower the socket block. Replacement Over-Locking ratchet straps included. Also available: Stanton Zoom and Focus Controller for Live TV (asking for $1750 CAD) Just over a year old, works with both Canon and Fujinon lenses. Pelican Case included. BarTech Wireless Follow Focus w/ M-One Motor (asking for $3500 CAD) Includes: 3 x Power Cables 1 x Motor Cable Thumbscrew controller Please email me (peter@9054productions.com) if you'd like more details or have any questions.
  8. Thanks Jerry! I'll give them a shout. -P
  9. Flew a Viper about a year or so back. Was fortunate to run with a single fiber line tethered off the back which didn't cause too much grief, although it was only about 12' long. The back half of the camera is very light, but other than that, no issues that I can remember. Best of luck!
  10. I've been having an issue with the HD SDI signal going into my Ultra Brite 2. When the monitor first receives a signal, either through power or connection, the picture is intermittent. The monitor will grab it for a second, then lose it again. This cycle can repeat up to a dozen or so times, although it usually settles down after two or three. Eventually, the monitor always finds an image and then works without issue, but it has delayed the start of a few shots. I've experimented with different cables (including actual HD video cables) both going into the stage and out of the DA, but that doesn't seem to make a difference. Neither the model of the camera nor the frame rate appear to make a difference either. I've also tried disabling the auto-source function of the monitor in case it was a scan issue. Anyone else notice similar problems?
