  3. Hi I am selling this amazing system as I have to downscale a bit. It is the best SD system I have worked with! With the 1 W transmitter i got solid picture just under 2Km.(6500Ft) The lighter 100mw Transmitter is rock solid and will cover most applications on set.Included is : XLR power cable for RX RS 3 pin power to TX P-Tap power to TX 2 spare antennas for TX Black Magic Analogue to SDI converter XLR power to converter. This system is still very much in demand all over the world because of its reliability and excellent solid range.I can post more pics if necessary. New the system is worth $ 9300 Asking price $ 5500 Regards Adi adivisser@gmail.com
  4. Hi I am selling my f STOP wireless receiver that can control your iris from your iPhone or similar via wi-fi. It is a great tool in case you don't have any other solutions or great as a backup in case something fails. It comes with 2 Hirose power and control cables , one is 3 pin RS and one is P-tap.It works with Preston digital motors or Heden digital motors. The app to control the unit can be downloaded free from the app store and is called wireless iris. More info can be found at: www.plcelectronicsolutions.com and Price $ 650 Adi Visser Cape Town
  5. Michael , i have no problems with vibration? anyway ill try to show you some time,
  6. Lars Yes it puts more strain on your top stage.. the whole rig becomes heavy I have done it only with heavy cameras as well like Alexa, but sometimes you have to improvise to get a shot without spending thousands of $ for something you need now and then..the rig itself can handle it and the times you need to scrape the floor it works fine. Its basically a riser cage with bottom plate and top plate and four lightweight posts about 24" holding it together, that gets me down on the floor ,you do then need to add more weight at your battery end to balance .At this end of the world that is the extremes you go to!
  7. Michael I made a home made cage that drops me to floor level ,very basic it gets the job done which is what its about...yes obviously on a rickshaw or dolly with hard mount is great but you will end up in places where you can't have them...only downside to my system is a rather large counter weight at the bottom (battery) to equal your new extention but for those super low shots its worth the pain in weight, you get the shot and move on ...no changing junction boxes etc , its quick. PS you could have phoned me!!
  8. James Layton, please post a pic if you manage to get a bracket sorted for your PRO sled Im in the same process!
  9. Thanks Lawrence and Philip I got it back to work just pushed all connectors firmly (but carefully ) down , I was a bit wary because I damaged the ribbon before which was a whole epic disaster but this was as mentioned easy! Thanks for feedback I did not even speak to Preston Adi
  10. Thanks Philip I mailed them already but its weekend so ill speak to them on Monday, good to know its a quick fix. Regards Adi
  11. Hi Anyone had problems with screen not comming on when switching the unit on? Regards Adi
  12. Yes observed this aswell.. sometimes its very different for a bit and then comes back to normal.
  13. Wow cool to see Mr Cundey in the 70s I just finished a movie with him.
  14. I agree the PRO vest rocks! It does take time to get it pefect for your body though but just keep fiddeling ..it will fit just right eventually , and yes under load it sets down a bit lower so that tweak also helps ,I find with full load you should be able to move your legs up to tummy hight without any problems but I guess all to their own, great vest.
  15. I am going with 4 degrees, damping 15, gyro 4 seems a bit of weight on the gyro feels more like I used to have on my analogue Marrell level.
  16. I received my level sensor eventually and after the latest firmware update it all works nicely.I am happy now especially that I have everything that I paid for months ago..The monitor is the best I have seen. The AR coating is great and viewing angle is good.It certainly is not the elephant in the room for me at present ,I have not had PSF issues but have not shot in that domain so hopefully those issues will be sorted soon.
  17. Hi can you now please change my name from Adriaan to Adi I can't seem to be able to do changes myself Regards Adi Visser
  18. Hi How do you delete a profile on this forum that is no longer used I once forgot my password then created another profile but now there are two profiles .How do I delete the one that I dont use anymore? Adi
  19. I use the gen 2 as my stand alone monitor and have not had it for long(took about 6 weeks). So far I am very happy with the viewing angle and brightness.Menu a bit complicated for quick adjustments.Would like to see monitor reverse and flips in future for shooting upside down.WAITING for level ....update just on windows anoying. Communication with Chris normally he responds to my emails within the same day.Its work in progress which I can respect and so far I think this monitor is on the path to becoming great.
