  1. Hi All, Not to sound like a flake, but a serious pending deal on the rig fell through last week so the package is up for sale again. A "Rough" IIIa vest (needs some attention, but usable) Accessories Included; Hill/Gorelock Docking bracket and rings 1 PRO Dovetail Plate 2 4 Pin power cables PRO Low-Mode Handle 3 Various length Arm Posts Fitted Pelican Case I would like to sell the rig as a complete set for $17,000.00 USD I will entertain offers on components to part the rig out, don't be afraid to make offers or ask questions. 2. Hi All, I have a local sale pending on the PRO-Lite sled and accessories I posted last week. I'll repost next week if the deal falls through. For sale now is the "franken" arm and a 3a vest. The arm has a bit of history with a few operators on this board, msg me and I'll fill you in, not sure if everyone wants to claim this in public! Not exactly a beauty queen, it is still fully functional. Last time I checked (a few years ago) this arm qualifies for the Steadyrig Arm Trade-In program. The vest has been under water in a flood in my studio a while back. All of the metal on it, including the socket block was cleaned and dried when it was found, and are rust free. The leather and pads will need some attention. Msg/email me any questions/offers Thanks, and have a great new year! -Ron ron.bolte@reflexmediasolutions.com

  7. Hi All, I'm in need of a lightweight triax cable setup for this Saturday, beg, borrow, rent or steal! DAG, is yours still available? its not on your website anymore, didn't know if you gave up on trying to sell. (knew I should have bought it last year!) Thanks in advance! Everyone stay dry, and stay cool, summer is on us here in the midwest! -Ron
  8. Hi Erwin; Yep, still totally enamored with the rig. Heres a couple from an HVAC manufacturers commercial. "No, I'm not bored and annoyed... I always look like this..." And... I take direction well eh? Hope all is well with you and the family! -Ron
  9. Do yourself a favor and avoid this short cut! The page is not in English (not that theres anything wrong with that) They want you to pay for it, you have to read an add for their knock-off product, and as a bonus they change your homepage shortcut for you! Thanks for wasting my time, thats no way to sell a product. -Ron
  10. You obviously bring up some great points Peter. Given the parameter of smaller DV cameras, the mini is sounds like the answer. I will totally agree on the "attention to details" aspect of the smaller, lower mass rigs. Putting on the SK, with my XL on it, after a few gigs with the PRO with the DigiBeta or SRIII with all its gack, can be a wrather humbling experiece! The revearse is also true, kinda like practicing with a batting weight in revearse, going back to the big rig... ahhhhhhh...
  11. Hello Mr. Deadcat! I too have used an SK-2 for a few years. I recently upgraded to PRO, but stll get the SK out on ocassion. I work mainly on industrial film/video, a smattering of commercials, and some music. I find the SK-2 very usable for music because of its small size and weight. Seems like the people I work for on music are more "freeform" about what gets shot, so I can work around the limits of the rig. As far as industrial stuff, thats why I bought the PRO. Seems like the directors I work for in that arena are less experienced with Steadicam, and expect a much higher level of precision in my shots. ("its like a dolly that sweats, right?") All of that said, When I was researching the SK-2, I found that resale was higher on it than competing rigs of its capabilities. Also, I found it easier to sell my services to novice/inexperieced producers not having to explain, "its like a Steadicam..." I could just point to the logo. Unfourtunate but real situation in my market, I have to explain my PRO rig is actually MUCH better... Just my .02 Ron Bolte
  12. Erwin; You forgot the best part of the package! FREE artwork by the youngest Landau! Mine was a lovely sunset over the beach... carefully explained by the artist herself. Seriously guys, I purchased Erwins other ProLite rig that was offered for sale in December. He takes amazing care of his gear, it was in perfect condition. He made sure I understood every part of the rig I needed, and made sure I was connected with GPI incase of any problems. I highly recomend buying this rig, I only wish I could afford it right now as a backup. Thanks Again Erwin; Ron Bolte
  13. Same problem here, WinXP Pro. -Ron
