  1. Paul did mention that the exam has been around for as long as he's been teaching. At this point, I believe it's become some sort of tradition. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He had our course assistant paint marks on the floor so the flats would be in exactly the same place every year. The only difference i saw was that our female agent was much hotter. :)
  2. Some things never change. I took that workshop almost 4 years ago and the final exam is still the same. I thought for sure Paul would have come up with something different by now. I agree with Matt. Feathter the rig out before walking. Brian

Jay, I'm good, You? How's the family? Haven't done much lately. Producers in our shop keep talking about possible uses, just never materializes. If I had a rig here, I know they would be all over it. I can't get the guy upstairs to shell out the money. I will drop Frank an email for more info. Thanks. Brian

I understand the new Steadicam Archer model was introduced at NAB? Sounds nice. Did anyone see it at NAB? Any report? Any idea of when it will be out? Cost? Thanks. Brian
  5. Charles, I might have something that will work for you. I have several old Anton housings. By old I mean early '90's. Back when the housings still had screws, so you could take them apart and recell them yourself. Drop me an eamil if you want more info. Brian
  6. Meg, Check the International Film & Television Workshops in Maine. http://www.theworkshops.com/filmworkshops/index.asp They have a 5 day workshop listed for this July. I took a this workshop several years ago and it was awesome. I went in knowing nothing about Steadicam. Two weeks after the workshop I had my first paying gig. A workshop is definetly the way to get started. Good Luck Brian Leid
