  1. I'm putting my WCU-4/UMC-4 set with two motors and lots akas up for sale next week. Keep an eye on the classifieds...
  2. Hi Alex, could you tell me what's the difference in firmware 2.0.4 to 3.1.1? And would it be possible to get 3.1.1 from you? Best, Benjamin
  3. AFAIK it is not designed to be adjusted. It should work with PRO plates.
  4. Looking for a Hawkwoods 12/24V DC/DC converter. If you have one that you like to get rid of please send me a PM. Thanks
  5. I got my own plates for the Alexa. Peace of mind! It just needs one guy, that is not you, to forget a bracket, bring the wrong one or what ever you need to make a certain setup work and you get toasted.
  6. Hi Paul, could you be a bit more specific on your setup please. How is the Alexa mounted to your sled? Vibrations with the Alexa have a long history and there are several brackets/plates out there to conquer this.
  7. Upgrade the wireing one my U1 to the new high amp version. Greg bends over backwards to help you.
  8. Greb Bubb, sells the PRO sized spuds for his 2" and 1.5" post clamps.
  9. Not to forget the Betz Tools RIG. Very good sled as well.
  10. Selling two pairs of XCS dovetail plates in good condition. Fits all sleds except Tiffen Ultra 1/2 and Master Series. New $350 USD $500 USD for each pair, or $900 USD for all four. 11. Hi Stew, here is a setup with an Alexa M. I'm sure it works with Mini as well. The plate is mounted backwards to the camera body, the front end of the 15 mm rods is locked to the plate with an adjustable 15 mm lens support bracket turned upside down and screwed into plate where the locking pin usually is. A rocksolid vibration free build. I ended up with a 45-90 Hawk zoom on the camera worked like a charm.
  12. I have bought one of Stefans mono pods as well. Very well made! This one will easily last for you whole career. Very handy! With the adjustable shoulder strap your spotter has both hands to guide you safely and the pod ready in seconds. Worth every penny!
  13. Hi Joe Papa, I hope that's your real name. Welcome to the forum! Thank you so much for your post here, but I would urge you to be very specific about who and what kind of equipment you write. There are two Steadicam related products out there called "Omega...". One is made by MK-V is called "Omega R" and I can assure you (first hand knowledge), their electronics and software is FAR from a $79 dollar controller. That thing actually works. The other one is made by Branch-Q (Howard Smith) and called "Omega lite". I have no first hand knowledge about it, but it looks like a gimbal spinoff. Does your post refer to this product? Cheers
  14. Visited a friend of mine 2 weeks ago. We had a long conversation about different vests etc. He showed me his Sachtler vest and how the waist section had deformed. We looked closer and took off the aluminium section of the waist pad to discover it had crackes left of the main bar (he is goofy footed). It was almost falling of. I'm not sure if it was a ACT 1 or 2, but that scared the hell out of us.
