  1. With auto REC a must for me and easy navigation for watching the takes back I've found the Transvideo Starlite to be almost perfect. It's small, light and has low power consumption, it glitches from time to time and needs to be rebooted but only once every few days so not a critical issue. I'd like it even more if it played back out the SDI output but it's never been so much an issue that I've felt like making a change. iB
  2. Thanks Tim, that seems to have solved the problem as I was able to complete a search, but I also changed the search to "forums" instead of "This Topic" so I wonder if that's been the issue as well and I've done other searches with more characters and come up empty. iB
  3. For the last year or so the search function on the Forum hasn't been working for me. I enter the most basic of Searches like "Arm" and it comes up empty. Is there a setting that I've altered that caused this? Thanks, iB
  4. The issue has hopefully been resolved and the monitor is still SOLD, sorry for the confusion. iB
  5. Due to an apparent software glitch in the XSBL the sale has fallen though. I will find out the issue and list the monitor for sale again soon. iB
  6. That's strange as there was in fact a photo when I clicked this the other day, I can't say if it was Alan as I don't know him but it was definitely a set pic of a Steadicam OP. iB
  7. Transvideo XSBL 2000 nits with internal Gyro Stabilized Virtual Horizon 2 w/ Pelican 1400 case, PRO Cable, HDMI cable and USB firmware update tool. There is a regular adjustable mount on the bottom of the Monitor and I'll also include the CAM JAM quattro mounts for this monitor as I won't need them anymore. There is a small scratch on the screen coating that I never noticed until taking these pics, it can't be seen when the Monitor is on and would be in the Info section below the image in regular mode at any rate. $3,700 US Plus Shipping Iain Baird
  8. I'll sell the monitor without the battery mounts for $3,700 US plus shipping. iB
  9. Transvideo XSBL 2000 nits with internal Gyro Stabilized Virtual Horizon 2, 2 Battery Mounts both AB and V ($300 US each), USB to Firewire for Firmware updates and Mini HDMI to Regular HDMI cable. Case is MIA as I never used it once the Monitor was on my sled!! There is a regular adjustable mount on the bottom of the Monitor and I'll also throw in the CAM JAM quattro mounts for this monitor as I won't need them anymore. Instead of mounting the third battery on my sled I'd mount it on the monitor and send power from the battery to the sled with a Y cable as I prefer the weight in the monitor for better pan inertia. There is a small scratch on the screen coating that I never noticed until taking these pics, it can't be seen when the Monitor is on and would be in the Info section below the image in regular mode at any rate. $4,000 US Plus Shipping iB
  10. Monitor has sold, thanks iB XSBL for sale soon.......
  11. Bump $2,750 http://users.neo.registeredsite.com/2/5/0/19753052/assets/7_StargateFHDMobi95980.pdf I'll keep it if no one is interested at this price, it's a fantastic unit but I just have too many monitors in my kit so something has to go. iB
  12. You can wire Two 12V batteries positions in parallel using the Jumper Block for both longer run times and Hot swap - but you need to have Diodes present on each line to prevent the batteries from cross charging each other. iB
  13. edit* All lines on the screen are reflections that I'm only noticing now that I'm seeing this positing on my computer.... The monitor comes with a bracket that attaches to both the Starlite and the Stargate (the ball mount could be thrown in too if that’s the style mount you use) There is also a plexi cover that has a few minor scratches on it. 14. I preordered this monitor years ago thinking it would be a great onboard operators monitor and then when it finally arrived I found that I really didn’t need it. I used it a few times and now it sits in its case as a backup to my SmallHD which I’m happier to keep using. They sell for €3000 brand new ($3,500 US) I’m looking to sell mine for $3,100 US plus shipping. https://www.transvideo.eu/Stargate pics of mine to follow soon...... iB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Age is creeping up on me so I've been experimenting with different assistive harnesses for hand held work, which I find exponentially harder on the body than Steadicam. A few friends have had great success operating handheld with the Ready Rig it but it never quite clicked for me. I purchased the GS with the PRO arms about a year ago and have only used it a few times. I've seen it in action and know the results have been positive for some but unfortunately not for me. I've since purchased an Easy Rig with the Serene addition (far pricier) and find it far more to my liking. This is a link to the product, it's mainly designed for Gimbal work but can be used for all sorts of applications. I've even seen used to hold a Wave 1 handheld rig. https://www.ready-rig.com/product/proarm/ I paid $2,600 US new and I'm asking $2,200 plus shipping. Comes with a custom bag from Ready Rig. Photos to follow. iB
