  1. I know it's crazy but maybe someone wants to sell there inovativ steadi cart. If so I'm looking to buy!
  2. For all those with the Wave 1 and gyros If I had the option of only buying one to be used for car mounts mostly and some slow push ins or pull outs what would be most useful to me the 6x6 gyros or the Wave 1?
  3. Does anyone have a Preston MDR 2 and HU 2 package they would like to sell?
  4. Looking to purchase an HD UltraBright 2 monitor as I am upgrading my master series to HD.
  5. Hello All! I fly a Master Series rig and I am looking for a J-Bracket to use on a shoot this sunday. If anyone in LA has one I could rent or for sale please let me know ASAP! Thank you! And I am sorry if this is in the wrong place on the forum I am in rush to find one.
  6. A while back I asked a question about what would be a good downconverter to use for a RED Epic and got fantastic advice. After saving some money I am able to finally buy one. The problem that I am having is powering the downconverter through my Master Series Sled. I have been looking into the AJA HA5, Decimator 2, and the BlackMagic Design Decimator. Reviews on each one tell me to go to the other so I am running in circles. Also I do not know what connectors and voltage I should be using to power the downconverters to my sled. Is there a way to have them power from the camera as an alternative?
  7. Is there anything else I should get along with the downconverter to help me out on HD shoots? Thank you to everyone who is responding!
  8. I fly a Master Series and I have a shoot coming up for a student project that is shooting with a RED Epic. I was wondering what downconverter or any other accessories I would need in order to send the HD signal through the sled. Also any suggestions on any more accessories I should look into. Thank you, Tim Dolan
  9. It sounds like a really cool shot. No one can really teach you how to think that way, and its awesome that you learned how to do that to make yourself a better operator! I was wondering if you had any video of it so I can visually see and learn what you did?
  10. Steadijan@hotmail.com. Email me there have plates

    Like to help.

  11. Thank you James and Matija for the name and link. And Jerry I still will be looking for the revised edition when you get out of the hole with Focal haha
  12. Are there any good books out there on learning the steadicam? Thank you for the time to look at this post!
  13. I definitely do not want to look like an amateur the first time I get on a set, so I will save up for the cage. I also found a problem that the bottom dial kinda falls out is there a way that I can fix that on my own, or is it just safer to bring it to Tiffen? If I bring it to Tiffen, is there anyone in specific I should ask for. Thank you all who are responding I am just starting out and just am itching to get this started!!
  14. Thank you for your time in answering my question. Im going to try the free weight idea until i can pull together enough cash for the cage. If i bought two weight plates could i screw them ontop of each other? or would the cage just be a better all around option?
