My company came across a Steadicam Pilot that has been collecting dust, and I offered to throw it on the forum. Some parts are damaged or missing but it can still be recovered (all the important parts work great such as gimbal, arm and sled structure). Asking $500 plus shipping. We’re based in Atlanta if you would like to take a look in person. -Vest is missing the Velcro straps (one could either use some 2” Velcro or go more elaborate and add some standard buckles - or buy one of the pilot vest’s for sale on here). -Arm is in great condition. -Battery pack to post screw is missing (hopefully just a trip to the hardware store). -Monitor screen turns on but the screen is too damaged. The power cable works fine so it can be replaced with a different monitor. Please feel free to message me with any questions or for additional photos! I kept this rig as a backup for my big rig but I've never needed it, so it's time to give it a good home. It's in great condition and I'm happy to provide more photos. I still use the Zephyr vest with my current sled, but I'm willing to part with it if the buyer doesn't mind some wear and tear. Will make a separate post later, but for now, here are photos of the Pilot. Purchased in August 2011 and used until I purchased the Zephyr in September 2012, at which time it was used as a backup/running rig.

Again thanks for the emails! As I've said to some beginner steadi ops, the Zephyr is a great rig for the price and weight capacity, but it never hurts to ask other operators to make sure this is the right rig for your needs or price range. Little update: Used this rig last week (smaller camera with weight cage walking around the city all day) and the gimbal quick release was sticky, but Dan from Tiffen was kind enough to send an extra one. It should arrive this week.

Great rig bought in late September of 2011! Kept it around as a backup/running rig with my G70x arm, but now selling it to buy more accessories for my Ultra 2. Besides a couple aesthetic scratches, a couple tape marks, and a little dust in the hard to clean spots, it's in great working condition. Zephyr HD Kit (V-Mount): Rolling Hard Case Sled Arm (used only for a few months) Vest Weights Docking Bracket Second Battery Mount Low Mode "F" Bracket 6" Arm Post for a G70x/G50x arm to the Zephyr Sled Socket Blocks for both the Zephyr Arm and a G70x/G50x arm With the extra Arm Post and Socket Block, you have the option of using the Zephyr Vest and Sled with a better Tiffen Arm. Please ask if interested in a Pelican Storm case, cables for this set up, or buying everything except the vest (if you want to use your own vest).
