Born in 1971, in Punjab, i moved to canada in 1986, and completed my graduation there, later, i completed a professional course in film and television production from Humber College (Toronto, Canada). Film and television has always been in my blood, after completing my course i continued to do free-lance camera work for weddings and live events. I also worked as an editor for South - Asian community show slots that catered to the punjabi society living in Canada. In 2008 and i decided to return to my homeland after being in a foreign country for over 25 years. Keeping my interests alive i started my own production house, I've always been very passionate about my work equipment - I've always been enthusiastic about new and improved equipment being available in the market and strive to work towards getting the finest equipment because i never compromise with quality, keeping this in mind i was the first proud red owner in the northern zone of india giving the punjabi cinema the first ever experience of shooting on a digital camera that can shoot in a resolution of 4K, with the camera i did a lot of productions of high end music videos and regional films. Working in the field of production i got inspired to produce my very own film in 2012 named "Zehraab" which will give the people of punjab a look at one of the most critical problems of punjab currently - the addiction of drugs in the youth of punjab. In the future i wish to add something to the punjabi film industry with a genre other than comedy, which is what a punjabi film is usually classified today as.
