Hi Everyone, I'm a new member and an aspiring steadicam op. I'm attending SAE Institute London and currently working on my second year dissertation. As part of my work I need to interview a film industry professional. Since my goal is to become a certified steadicam operator I thought I'd interview someone from this line of work. My supervisor (and steadicam instructor) suggested that I sign up to this forum and see if anyone is available to answer a few questions. In total there are 7 questions. How detailed you want your answers to be is up to you (though some detail is preferable). The criteria is that you need to be an industry professional (not a student) with a few years of experience and must have at least 5 IMDb credits under your belt.
