  1. Cellular Bonding is definitely the most viable option for this as it's the most versatile piece of equipment. With ideal network conditions you can stream live with only 3 seconds of latency, and if you need to be safe you can buffer up to 20 seconds. Supporting 3G/4G cellular/wireless, WiFi, Ethernet, and satellite will guarantee that a broadcaster can air live news from any location around the world. My companies take on this is the AVIWEST Cellular Uplink. Have a good one!
  2. .Has anyone ever run a side by side test between some of these transmitters? Does any transmitter consistently outperform the others for you?
  3. VidOvation has a few transmitters I would like to make you all aware of. We have a very economical link called the VidOlink 5G that will go 300 feet. More recently we've released the VidOlink Reacher which is relative to all the others listed above in this forum. We have yet to run a side by side test, but overall we were quite pleased with the results. Also, if anyone's interested, feel free to take a look at my company's "User's Guide to Wireless Video".
  4. This is a very good point. Choosing between these is a bit like apples to apples. Maybe one's a Fuji apple so you like it over another. VidOvation has a similar transmitter that falls into this category as well. The other option is to go with higher end transmitters than will do COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) for further distance and reliability. Have a good one!
  5. It seems to me like they did something like that in "The Conjuring" as well which I loved. So, now I guess I'll have to watch Birdman as well.
  6. It might depend on exactly what you intend to do with it now and in the future. How far you need to go, what obstacles their will be, HDMI vs. HD SDI, how important are latency, encryption, etc. Read about the fundamental differences in the technologies in this "User's Guide to Wireless Video". Have a great day!
