Try getting a sheet of flexible plastic from the grips. They usually have it for dance floor. If you get a thicker piece (1/4" or 5/16") then cut it to fit the bed of your truck. Your cases will slide in and out with ease and it will keep your carpet in the bed area clean and damage free.

Thank you to everyones kind words about my work on Inside Man. I have heard from many folks about the movie and it really is heartening to know that my peers appreciate my hard work. The shoot was a real dream for an operator. I indeed did all the Steadicam and handheld work. The idea was to shoot all the scenes outside the bank handheld to convey a chaotic feeling to Denzel's world and everything inside the bank with Steadicam to show Clive Owens' cool calm nature. There are a smattering of Techno shots, but we did the majority of the work on Steadicam. Spike really likes to move fast so even close up coverage (including a 150mm shot circling Clive at his desk) were all Steadicam. My kudos to my focus pullers Aurelia Winborn (A-camera and all handheld work) and Tim Metivier (Steadicam focus puller), they did a near flawless job with focus and made my shots look great. Has anyone else used the new wifi system "The-Boxx" I am looking at buying this system and would like some more feedback before I drop that much cash..... I know it has half-second delay which I'm willing to work around, to get the great picture quality. The-Boxx Thanks, Chris "need a wireless system" Konash Chris- I just had a demo of the BOXX today in NYC. It is incredible. I walked all over our set on the SiverCup Stage and even into a all Stainless Steel walk in freezer on our set and it NEVER broke up. I even walked the full length of the stage and it never broke up unitl I left the second airtight door out of the stage (at which point it started to freeze some). This is incredible range. The picture was absolutely flawless. Even our video assist operator couldn't believe it wasn't hard wired. THE ONLY drawback is the 12 frame audio delay. This is probably totally acceptable in all but an occasional feature film scenario. Still, I think it is acceptable, especially given the video quality of the image.
