PRO sleds are bombproof, they just work and you can get ahold of them easily. Presently they have the slickest gimbal around and they are dead simple and easy to find all over the world in an emergency situation. Now that Tiffen has a Volt Gimbal conversion kit there really is a reason to look anywhere else than PRO

The master is an Analog sled designed for when we used NTSC and PAL cameras. It will not pass HD-SDI without modification. Its shape is also a drawback

You are not going to find that information in a Steadicam forum

Any CURRENT or recent ABC series op that has shot in LA and received a $1,000 a day non pro rated $3,000 week rental on rig?
I’m being told ABC’s policy is $600 a day, 5 day week pro rated...even though I have proof of two ABC shows that I got 3 day weeks on.
Beware all you low ballers out there! They’re coming for you! The only way to defeat them is to hold strong and together on a $3,000 non pro rated week! It’s industry standard! Help me fight them off! Private text me if you want 818-402-6411 please include your name!

Sounds like your agent is getting lazy. If they need to call it $600/day thats fine as long as they pay 5 days per week. and Honestly even $3k/week is low, it should be $3600 week

You have the PRO arm incorrectly setup. The arm section should both point slightly down. Right now you have the arm oversprung
