The F55 most definitely does send a flag to trigger external recorders through the Sdi Just did a job with a F55 and sending the picture wirelessly via a bolt 2000 to a pix E7. Had to turn one setting on in the menu to activate the flag but I had wireless triggering of the recorder working. Will look up the exact setting in the menu because it's not obvious
