Hello, I have recently found a Seamstress in Vancouver that will take all of your Vest pads and create new ones for a very good price. Approx 350CDN. She uses good quality fabrics and she adds zippers for easy foam replacement and her work is amazing. if you would like her contact information please let me know at Fluidmo@Fluidmo.com BTW, she is of no relation, business or otherwise. I do not benefit from her getting contracts. She just did my vest and did a great job for a very good price and good turn around time. I think she could source foam but I prefer to do that, she just did all the material with Zippers and velco. peter.

If I am not mistaken, someone was mentioning, maybe last year, about adding 'rubber bands' to a 111a arm? Does anyone remember? Has anyone heard of or know where to get such elastic? I am about to do some work with a Panavised HD camera with a ridiculous lense on it and I am worried about hitting bottom on my arm. More than 31/2' long!! thanks in advance. peter.

cajones, or just ever present protectionist ignorance? Why do some people fool themselves into believing that ALL films should be shot in California? I can't wait to see how many films up for oscars are not shot in California. Hey, maybe other people can make great movies too. hmmm. As said in the last e.mail ((nothing personal to our steadi friends down south), I for one do believe that per capita hollywood has some of the best technitions with the greatest resumes. Why can't we all just do our jobs the best we can and wish well upon everyone else. If a movie goes to New Zealand well congrats to those people in New Zealand who get to put supper on their tables. If the next movie of the week from ABC gets shot in Oakland well then congrats to those in Oakland. I don't want to start anything with this post but I would like to everyone support all films, regardless of where they are made. peter.
