  1. Hey Victor, search a little bit through the forum. Their should be many posts with similar topics and very good tips from experienced and talented operators. In my opinion you should try out as many rigs as you can. Therefore you can get expectations for your new rig and decide what you like or don't like. Steadicam is a very personal tool so you should be clear about your demands. I did the same the last two years and fell in love with Smartsystem. For me everything felt right since the first time using it and it satisfy my expectations. That doesn't mean it has to be the right tool for you – maybe you have other expectations or preferences. The best way would be to contact Planning Camera in Paris and test it. I think they also have other brands so you can try out a few rigs and combinations.
  2. I love my new Smartcam Monitor SM7-3K-Z from Smartsystem. It has their digital level „ZEN“ integrated so you always can keep precise track of your axes. With 3000 nits it's perfect for outdoor operating and has a good weight of 1,5 kg. Smartsytem also has a great costumer service. Andrea is such a kind guy and is always there for you. I can only recommend it. All the facts and figures about the monitor you can find on their website under the stabilizer section.
  3. Here you go! Picture1: arm segment closest to vest (upper arm) Picture2: arm segment closest to gimbal (forearm) I think the arm segments/springs are identically (21 coils) Best regards Chris
  4. Hey Miro, I hope this is what you are looking for. Just let me know if you need different perspectives or more detailed photos. Best regards Chris
