  2. Price drop! We are selling one of our sets of Klassen wheels. Minimal use, in very good condition. Open to offers. They will control the DJI R2 or Movi gimbals. Wheels come with the Futaba transmitter... the corresponding receiver for your gimbal is not included but can be purchased online easily. In the last few months it had the internal hardware upgrade done by Klassen to the latest components (a $1,000 upgrade) which make the wheels super responsive, on the level of the DJI Master Wheels. Our used price is in USD, as these wheels were $5K USD new. As a bonus, the wheels also come with a custom 6' cable we had made by Klassen that allows for the wheels to be powered from a 4-pin 12V XLR battery source. AC power adapter, custom fitted Nanuk case, Mitchell tie down (wheels can be mounted to standard Mitchell support systems).

  4. I'm selling these for a friend of mine, a steadicam op who has moved out of the country and left these behind. I could sell separately or together. They were his personal units from the time they were new and have been well looked after and work well. What I have: 1x Sony GV-D800 NTSC (Digital 8) Clamshell with TGV-100 tuner module 1x Sony GV-D900 NTSC (MiniDV) Clamshell with TGV-100 tuner module 2x PortaBrace custom soft protection bags for the Clamshells 2x Sony AC-VQ850 Battery Chargers 4x Sony Batteries various cables, AC adapter 1x Pelican 1500 case with lid organizer Looking for $1200 for both, OBO - let me know if you are interested in them separately. Jeremy jbenning@me.com
  5. FYI the TB-6 has been sold. The Clamshells and TGV-100 are still avail.
  6. Selling my trusty XCS TB-6 green screen that I bought brand new at the same time as my XCS sled years ago. I've never had a problem with it, its never needed service either. I've got other back up monitors now, so this is just taking up space. Needs to find a new home. I'm looking for $1500 OBO. Also selling off my kit of Sony Digital 8 and Mini DV clamshells, which both include all the batteries, chargers, pelican cases, Portabrace bags and the TGV-100 tuners. Also have a spare, brand new, still in the box TGV-100 as well. Make me an offer. Jeremy Benning, csc Toronto, Canada IATSE 667 & 600
  7. Price lowered to sell.... I am selling this on behalf of my 1st AC. We used these units for the last couple of years, great addition to our kits. It changed the way we work - for the better. Now we are upgrading and no longer need the Cam Waves. They still work great! Here are the details as posted by my AC: For sale (1x matched transmitter and 1x receiver). I am also selling a second identical system on ebay currently- which can be used together with this system in multi mode if desired. As a professional camera assistant, I was the owner/operator if this system - it was not a rental house system. Both have been upgraded with the latest firmware at the factory in Torrance, California. The units are clean and have been well maintained. Normal wear and tear on the chassis but they function and operate seamlessly. I used two (2) receivers with either transmitter in multi mode so as to be wireless with a Preston follow focus & onboard monitor, while also allowing video village to have its own wireless signal. The latency with these units is negligible - as good as any HD transmitter out there currently. Here are the specs on these units from the manufacturer: Automatically detects between HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals Transmission range of 150 feet line of sight or up to 100 feet through walls (actual range may vary depending on location environment) No FCC license is required for operation 2-channel embedded audio ensures no signal interference with complete audio/video synchronization. Uses integrated V-Mount for camera and battery connection; fully compatible with ENDURA batteries. 4 channel selectable frequencies and Auto--ideal if operating multiple systems in close proximity. Stylish and rugged design, with no external antenna 12W power consumption and weighs less than 2 lbs. TX features loop-through; RX outputs dual simultaneous signals Conformance to major technical and environmental standards including FCC, CE and RoHS specifications System 1: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Camwave-CW-5HD-Uncompressed-Wireless-HD-Video-Transmission-System-/281111154380?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item417387cecc&_uhb=1 System 2: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281111155003&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:CA:1123
  8. For sale on behalf of my AC are: Two (2) pairs of used CamWave CW-5HD's for sale. Both have been upgraded with the latest firmware at the Torrance CA factory and have been well maintained. Normal wear and tear on the chassis but they function and operate seamlessly. We used two (2) receivers with either transmitter in multi mode so as to be wireless with a Preston & onboard monitor, while also allowing video village to have its own wireless signal. The latency with these units is negligible - as good as any HD transmitter out there. I am asking $2200 per unit. 10. Hey Gang, Looking to sell my case of three SL 400 steadicam mags. I'm asking $1200 USD. Currently they are on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...E:L:LCA:CA:1123 These mags will also work with the Arriflex 435, Arri 2C and Arri 235. On the Arri 435 and 235, the mags sit on a slight downward angle, but not enough to alter balance. They are made of a magnesium material, making them very very light, lighter than 435 Steadicam mags. A footage counter is built into the cover. Weight: 56 oz (1.5 kg) Brand new these mags were $4250 USD each!!! They will run up to 130fps in forward only. Please contact me at: benning@interlog.com Or bid on ebay for them. I want to sell so offers accepted. jerem
  11. These mags are up on ebay currently: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...E:IT&ih=018 The SL400 Mags will work with Arri III's, 435's and 235's. On a 435 they sit at a slight downward angle, but still do their job of keeping film displacement weight from affecting the balance of a steadicam rig. Very versatile mags, and lighter than Arri's own 435 steadicam mags at 1.5 KG! They will run 130fps forward only. They are made of magnesium. These mags alone are $4250 US new each! They are light-tight and very clean - I have never had film scratched. Never have needed to tape the mags in even bright sun. I have had these mags overhauled by the manufacturer (SL Cine) a couple of years ago (they have hardly been used since) to all the newest parts internally. Here is SL Cine's web page about these mags: http://www.slcine.com/html/stead2.html Included is a new custom made flight case (made by Engineered Cade Manufacturing in Toronto) that securely holds all three magazines. If you would like more photos or information, please contact me.
  12. This is something I had made for jobs I was doing as a steadicam operator in countries abroad that were PAL. I use a Modulus 3000 as my main transmitter, but it only does NTSC, so this system was my PAL back up. However, this system will do both - NTSC and PAL!!! I don't use it anymore, and will likely upgrade to a Modulus 4000 if they prove to be reliable. This system only was used a few times and then sat on my shelf for a couple of years. Its in top notch shape, very little signs of use. The LCD screen is completely clean and scratch free. The Panasonic TC-7WMS1 LCD screen is velcroed very securely to the inside of the lid of the rugged Underwater Kinetics case that it is housed in. The monitor is wired into the Coherent CVR-200 900Mhz Receiver inside the case. There is a 4 pin XLR cable mounted into the case to allow for powering of both the LCD and CVR-200 from a single external 12v battery source. Included in this auction are: 1x Panasonic TC-7WMS1 7" LCD 16:9 Screen 1x Coherent Communications CVR-200 900 MHz Reveiver with Antenna 1x CVT-M Matchbox Wireless Video Transmitter 1x CVA-3 Miniature Power Amplifier*** 1x Underwater Kinetics Case w/4-Pin XLR power port modification 2x High Gain Antennae 1x Custom 4-pin Lemo mini to Y-Split dual Hirose 4-pin cable (for powering both CVT-M and CVA-3 off of my XCS Ultimate Sled) ***The CVA-3 module (as seen in my photos) piggy-backs with the CVM (I use velcro) and links together via supplied mini cable to boost the power of the CVM alone. In comparison to my Modulus 3000, I would say this combo is comparable in signal strength and quality. http://cgi.ebay.ca/Coherent-Communications...1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. The SL-400 mags that I posted here a while back are now on ebay, as well as some other bits of mine... http://cgi.ebay.ca/SL-400-Steadicam-Magazi...1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. I have reduced my asking price to $6,000 USD. ------------ I am selling my set of three (3) SL400 Steadicam mags. These are the very light magnesium mags made by SLCine. They will work with Arri 435, III, 2C and 235 cameras. On a 435, the mags sit at a slightly downward angle - but not enough to be much of a noticeable balance shift while rolling. On the Arri III, the mags sit at a perfect 90 degree angle to the body. They each weigh 1.5Kg, and can run up to 130 FPS in forward only. See images of my actual mags below. http://www.flickr.com/gp/14492185@N00/8Enum9 New, these mags list for $4250 USD ($12,750 total). I have had all three of my mags upgraded by SL Cine with the newest parts right after I purchased them 3 years ago from another owner in LA. I'm asking $6,000 US for them, or best offer. I had a new flight case custom made for them by Engineered Case Manufacturing, which I am including with the sale. Please contact me at benning "at" interlog.com (be aware I use a spam filter that will auto send a confirmation email to you - you must enter the code or else I will not get your message). Thanks! 15. The 2C camera package has been sold. The mags are still available at this time.
  16. This is a highly unique package, very rare to find all of these accessories in one kit. I am a steadicam operator, and have owned this camera for 4 years - I was the primary user. Fully built with a 400' roll (SL 400 Mag), Cooke S4 32mm lens and LMB-5 matte box, this camera weighs in at 20lbs! (Cooke S4 and LMB-5 not included - example only) I am selling because I am downsizing my gear package. This sale includes the following: Arri 2C Body Serial # C9837, with PL and Panavision Mount, Super35 Gate SL Cine Video-only door w/ Watec Colour Camera Regular 2C eyepiece door with traditional eyepiece Periscopic Finder Arri Sliding Bridge plate Cinematography Electronics Crystal Motor Base (S/N: 19139) Variable shutter, 5-165 degrees Cinematography Electronics 2C Intervalometer Serial # 6459 Panavision style 4x5.6 Clip-on Matte Box w/6 Hard Mattes Gauge block kit w/ Arri and Panavision mount blocks, Mitutoyo gauge (the probe has a bent thread - can be replaced at a machine shop) CineSpeed Meter2 Super TV Ground Glass Regular TV (safe+trans) Ground Glass 1:85 Ground Glass 1x Hershman tool (ground glass remover) New Pelican 1650 Case for Camera body and accessories 2x Micro Pelican cases for ground glasses, parts, etc. This package was originally purchased from Whitehouse AV in Los Angeles for $15,000 US (with the Mags). Since then I have added the intervalometer, variable shutter and various overhauls. The camera has been thoroughly serviced by Cineasst in Toronto as well as Gerhard in LA (SL Cine's service Tech). The crystal base has been overhauled by Cinematography Electronics, competely rebuilt. The body has been modified by a previous owner with a great low-mode top, which I have used for steadicam several times. It also serves as a great mounting platform for on-board monitors, transmitters, focus motor drivers, etc (great for handheld). This top may be removed with three screws in order to use traditional 2C mags if desired. I had the variable shutter installed by Cineasst in Toronto. The camera is in very good condition, it has been repainted at some point by a previous owner...just some slight chipping around edges from regular use. Power cables are included for the video door and intervalometer. A D-mon "smart cable" for 12v power to the camera is also supplied. The camera will run up to 60fps (I had a speed governor installed in the speed base by cinematography electronics to prevent over speed). Registration is above average for a 2C. I am also throwing in a Medical 2C body that I bought for spare parts... See this gallery for more, high rez images: http://www.flickr.com/gp/14492185@N00/8Enum9 I am asking $7,000 USD for this camera and the above listed items, or best offer. I would sell this with the mags for a package price if this interests anyone. Email me at benning "at" interlog.com for more info. Please be sure to reply to the spam filter message that you will immediately get - otherwise I will not get your email. Thanks! Jeremy Benning

  18. My friend Ray Dumas is left handed and he operates on the 'normal' side, while I am right handed and also operate 'normal'.... I tried both ways in the beginning, and somehow the traditional way just felt right. It is interesting to see at workshops when a student who has been struggling with finding their 'sweet spot' suddenly has the lights go on when they switch sides. go figure....
  19. I heard that Tilman went sky diving right after the shoot was over to purge himself the stresses that he accumulated from the project....
  20. I own the SL Cine video-only door with the Watec color tap. It is very light and compact. I have been told that there is now a Delrin plastic version of the same thing... www.slcine.com
  21. Hello All, We are down to our last TGV-100 NTSC tuner...and it is now on eBay. We started with 16 of these units, this is the last one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3818766911
  22. the link that guillermo posted didn't work for me, here's the photo again. There was some clever sandbagging of certain fountain heads to carve a slight path for the camera - and the skillful dance around them. jeremy
  23. Hello All, I am upgrading to the new generation Klassen harness and am looking to sell my Traditional DSD #28. It has the airbladder upgrade, new pad covers (plus a spare set), new socket block design - but the older style back adjustments. The spotter's handles have been upgraded to the new upper back position (not shown in photo). Also included are the soft carry bag and spare parts/tools kit. The Kevlar shell is the original smooth polish finish (no longer available) in a lovely green hue with black leather trim. Cosmetically it is in very good condition - I have kept it polished and cleaned for the nearly 4 years that I've used it. The Carbon Arm is also the original smooth finish. There are a couple of minor scuffs on the elbow of the Carbon Arm. I am 5'8, 170lbs, with a 33" waist. Please contact me for info on fittings. Since I live in Toronto, Walter is happy to assist potential buyers with making sure that it will fit them well. Its amazing how much sentimental attachment I have to this work of art (knowing that I will not get another green one) - so I hope to find a good home for it :) Asking $5000 USD. PS: Also selling a brand new Sony Vaio 15" PCG-K13 Laptop, 1 month old... jeremy benning 416 536 5338 benning@interlog.com
