Greg Bubb makes them as an accessory mount for the Ultimate. I'm sure he would sell it separately. Andrew -

Adjustable monitor bracket front to back?
Andrew Jansen replied to Dan Coplan's topic in Brackets/Widgets
Gregg Bubb has designed the Ultimate monitor bracket... Check it out at http://www.xcsinc.com/ultimate/ult_compnts_3.html Andrew -
That would be Alec... I ran in to him a while back as he was shooting that show. Andrew

I not good at cutting out foam so I left it up to the wonderful folks in the art department who did a great job ! Cheers, Andrew
-
Marc, I use the Pelican 1700 for my PRO Arm. I cut out the foam and lay the arm and arm posts flat in the foam. I figure for $20K for the arm it deserves the best case. The case is rock solid, lockable and when on the truck or being moved around the studio or location I have NO worries about it. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...egoryNavigation Good luck. First it was the shoes, now the shirt ...?
Andrew Jansen replied to Dave Wowchuk's topic in Operating
I wear Merrell shoes, and black yoga pants from www.bepresent.com They are very comfortable under my Klassen vest. Elastic waist with draw string, very light weight.. http://bepresent.com/bpstore/product.php?p...&cat=251&page=1 I usually wear a 100% cotton t shirt, but it does take a while to dry when I get out of the vest. You can't go wrong with Under Armor.. Hope this helps ! Andrew -
It's all personal preference really. In my opinion in 15 years of operating I would say the best sled made is The Ultimate by Greg Bubb at XCS, best arm is by GPI PRO, best vest is between Klassen and PRO and best focus for the money is Bartech. Just my humble opinion... I'm sure there'll be more folks chiming in !! Andrew
-
They can all screw up sometimes ! When Gregg Bubb recently shipped me my Ultimate Sled, FEDEX delivered it to the museum down the road. Now I agree with Fedex that one day The Ultimate should be in that museum (the Guggenheim) as the most beautiful sled ever made. Just not yet !! Good luck with all your future shipping ! TV tuner/diversity receiver
Andrew Jansen replied to Jeff Muhlstock SOC's topic in Video Assist and Video Accessories
Hi Jeff, I have a Transvideo Hermes receiver you're welcome to borrow if you need. Works well for me in Manhattan... http://www.transvideointl.com/pages/englis...mes-pegasus.htm Andrew www.steadicamguy.com 212.961.7171 -
Do NOT buy the Panasonic BT-LH900 8.4" Monitor, you cannot see it in daylight and the screen is too reflective. I bought one for a show and just sold it to a DP who owns a few Varicam's. Andrew www.steadicamguy.com PS the Teletest looks interesting and cheap too !

Yes that's me ! I got the old vest out so I cold wear more layers for the cold. The Klassen fits like a glove and as such can't wear all the warm stuff. It was a fun night !!! I'll pose next time so they get my good side like Maria"please shoot me from the left" Carey Miss you Chip !! Andrew www.steadicamguy.com -
Thank god my gear lives in the studio and I can get to work by motorcycle... Sucks for those that have to walk across the Brooklyn bridge... Andrew www.steadicamguy.com

Wanted: Used PRO rig - any version
Andrew Jansen replied to Dan Coplan's topic in Steadicam Marketplace - Wanted
Hi Dan, I have a second PRO II sled for sale for $15950. Email me for photos and details. Andrew www.steadicamguy.com -
I spoke to George Paddock here in the USA about running an HD SDI signal down the post of my PRO II sled, but it's not possible due to the lemo connector in the post. If you are able to run a direct 75ohm coax cable with bnc's on each end down the post that should work. I have many monitors including the Panasonic 8" HD which when I use it with an HD camera I have to run a cable IIIA style... What sled do you have ? Andrew www.steadicamguy.com

Chip, I hope you didn't sell the Carmen Kass rig for an SK !!! Cheers mate !!!! Andrew
