  1. I'm selling my steadicam Zephyr complete kit. Includes everything to get up and running. The sled, dock, arm and vest and travel case. The sled has a custom mount so you can put on a 1/4-20 threaded monitor like a smallhd cine7, etc. I will include the original monitor too . comes with three pin to p tap as well. It has wear - cosmetic - but all actual wear that matters - it just got serviced by tiffen. I have a receipt of that in the photo section of this post. It can surprisingly handle up to 25 lb rigs and has a great boom range. A really great kit for your first steadicam rig or as a backup to your other rigs. And why steadicam or a gimbal? That human touch - and more precise control on panning and tilting. No robots needed - just you and your hands and body. let me know if you have questions. I'm 917.449.0738 and ed.david@gmail.com in brooklyn ny but avail to ship make an offer too
  2. Hi guys. I fly just a steadicam zephyr and I put the max payload on it or even over payloading it - flying an arri amira with cinema glass, follow focus, etc. I find myself have bumps and jitters in footage and seeing if it's the arm being stressed. Would upgrading the arm be useful? Like the G-50x seems a lot more stabile and able to handle the higher payload. Or is upgrading the vest better? I'm not in the market to spend more than $10k with my funds limited. Let me know thoughts. Thanks! Ed
  3. Seeing if anyone can share their experience with the m2 steadicam sled? I'm thinking of going for this, coming from a zephyr. Thanks! Ed
  4. Seeing if anyone has thoughts on buying a used master series kit vs a newer system? old and tested vs new and more bells and whistles?
  5. Hi guys been using the zephyr and the alexa mini is having shakes - vibrations - seeing if there is a baseplate to recommend for this? Or is it the Zephyr - that has some kind of design flaws? Is there an alternative in that pricerange that is better? Thanks! Ed
