I just sold my Zhiyun Crane 2. For one simple reason…
I recently upgraded my DSLR for a mirrorless Canon R6. Unfortunately I’ve now discovered that the added length with the lens adapter, heavy lens and the reduced weight of the camera body means I can’t balance the camera on the gimbal without it fouling on the rear arm. It was soooo close, but I just couldn’t get it to work.
So I need a new Gimbal, and I know the new Zhiyun S3 has an extension arm for this exact reason, but I don’t need all of the bells and whistles and tbh it’s also slightly out of my budget.
Does anyone know of any other DSLR gimbal that has more clearance for the camera itself?
