When I read in the specs of any Steadycam that it can hold specific load capacity and let's take as a example AERO 30 which max load capacity is 9KG. That means those 9KG can hold ARM correct? So what about SLED weight? If it's example 4KG I will need to cut 4KG from total 9KG and I will get only 5KG payload available to use with the camera setup? And the same logic goes with all other Steadicams?
I've done some research and found these 3 entry level steadicams which can be a starting point for a lot of newbies.
Share your experience if you used one of these or have a test footage shoot with this steadicams and suggest which one is better from those.
If there are other under 2000$ steadicams that you can recommend with full kit also share here.
Thank you
LAING M30F 1985$ / load capacity up to 15kg
CAME-TV Pro Camera Carbon Stabilizer with Support Vest and Support Arm 888$ / load capacity up to 12kg
FLYCAM Zest Pro Electronic Video Camera Stabilizer with Vista-II Arm Vest 1195$ / load capacity up to 15kg
Suggest Steadicam which can hold from 12kg up to 15kg camera rig.
Also what do you recommend, buy it as a single kit or buy each parts separately from different brands and models?
If separately please mention which one from where. Thank you.
Cool, so can you suggest for me a Steadicam which can hold from 12kg up to 15kg camera rig.
Also what do you recommend, buy it as a single kit or buy each parts separately like you did and if yes why and which ones?
