  6. Hi there, Currently upgrading to the new HD Pro Sled. As a result I'm looking to sell my original Pro Sled which includes the upper junction box, 1.5" center post, lower J Box, battery rack, and 8 batteries and 1 PAG AR124PLD Charger. All components are in excellent working condition. Haven't looked into pricing yet. Thought I'd test the waters first. Anyone looking for more information can contact me via email at rudykatkic@gmail.com Cheers
  7. In regards to sending an HD signal from you to the director I'd recommend a thinner gauge of BNC cable which can be clipped to your vest thereby not influencing your operating, and then use a barrel connector out of that. Most equipment rental houses carry them. Make sure you get at least 18 inches in length.
  8. And to think he started out his career as just another humble Canadian looking to make a name for himself. Cheers
  9. A general question to all who are fan's of Larry McConkey's work in Miller's Crossing. In the final "2 shot" walk and talk between Albert Finney and Gabriel Byrne is it steadicam or not? I don't think so because there is absolutely no float in the framelines. But then again its not dolly because you'd be able to see the track at some point during the tail end of their dialogue. So what the heck is it?!? Anyway.... Here's wishing everyone a very happy and safe new year! Rudy Katkic
  10. Hi, FYI, outside of flying the 435 on a rig, plugging it into an especially long extention power cord i.e. camera is on top of a 10 foot ladder and battery is down on the ground, the camera will also not be able to run properly as a result of its very specific voltage needs. Found that one out the hard way. Cheers, Rudy
  11. Just wondering if anyone out there could recommend a good 4 wheeled steadicam cart, where to buy it, and approx. how much? Cheers
