Hello everyone. For your consideration a superb piece of equipment. This is the KFX TECHNOLOGIES AURORA REMOTE HEAD. I purchased in late 2017. I have used this head with amazing results. This is one of the smallest non-stabilized 2axis remote heads.I am addicted to the ARRi gear head and just "wheels" in general so this was a great addition to my kit when the shot setup didn't allow me to use a traditional head. I always put it on a dolly. or just put it on sticks or a hi-hat..plug in and GO. its also performs well in low wind straight arm crane or jib situations as well. No tech required. Please do some research on the company's website. This head works beautifully with primes and short zooms..it will struggle with a large zoom such as an 11:1 or 12:1..I do NOT recommend using it with large zooms. Stephen Scamell is the CEO of KFX he has promised me the new buyer of this head will get a "complimentary full comprehensive service and support" for this head. This is an amazing simple two axis head ..it will even perform not fully balanced it is so good. This was the first KFX head to go to 11..that is one more than 10. I do not not recommend going to 11 its just toooo powerful...dont even think about it.
