  1. Hello, I have a Boxx Meridian transmitter and recover for sale... This is a beautiful bit of kit and is a fantastic sender that will send a signal through walls and shut doors without breaking up. Its been super reliable and has been a great system and I no longer use it now. It also has a panel antenna which is an extra, which allows the receiver to go on a stand for even better range and quality. It comes with a shed load of spares all in different cases and the whole kit is in absolute mint condition. We are based in London in the UK and purchaser will have to arrange shipping if not in the Uk, free delivery if in the UK... Sensible offers please... feel free to email me danny@onestopfilms.co.uk

  7. Hey guys after a long year at work Ive sat down on a Saturday night and came across this discussion. Firstly thanks dave for starting it and I hope in the future many people will add to it?? I have in the past decade at times emailed operators and asked how they have done things including dave and have read with interest they responses to what they did and how they over came obstacles. Here is my shot that I did this year and Im incredibly happy with it: Its from a show called Ripper Street and is shot at a studio in Dublin, I have a Pro Rig / Pro Arm / Walter Klassen vest and this was Alexa and P-Vintage glass… (please excuse the compression.) We went to the tech recce 4 weeks before and we decided to start the shot on a horse and cart with a platform rigged on the back to set the scene in Victorian London in the Post Office. With the idea that you think that its just a wide and then it would cut, but actually we carry on. The day of the shoot we blocked it through several times with a penterfinder and then we did three takes, this was the third one. Mostly I'm very happy with it, obviously theres things I wish id done better, I wish id panned more to the right as I actually walked in to the post office door, I asked to go again but wasn't allowed…. hope you enjoy…. Danny

  11. hello when I first started out I purchased this Master Hd sled, its a fantastic sled and a great first time sled to start with. it does not come with a monitor, but the bracket it on it is designed to fit with a Transvideo monitor. It is designed to be used with anton beur batts. It does not come with batts, but I can throw in a small charger and 5 anton beur batts dionic 90's however, these all need to be re celled. The great thing about this sled is it is wired for HD so you don't need a down converter, its solid and its easy to balance and flys straight. It comes with a plate and a case and a few cables for power etc I purchased this in 2010 for £3500 so ideally looking for the same price. We are based in the Uk so can ship world wide but purchaser pays for shipping. my email address is danny@onestopfilms.co.uk

  14. Hello I'm shooting a feature down in southern Italy and through out the 9weeks we need various days where we want to be able to rig the Steadicam on the back of a pick up for shots of Vespas people running usual stuff. Financially it's not possible to bring something from Rome so we need to rig scaffold tubes and a Garfield mount off the back to shoot from. I just wondered if anyone could offer any advice on rigging and also any pictures of similar rigs and how you rigged on the fly for this kind of shooting. Any help would be appreciated many thanks

  17. Hello, we are based in the United Kingdom in London and are selling our very much loved Sled. We purchased this two years ago from Peter Schmel in Germany. We are now selling it as we have purchased another Pro Sled and we have no need for this. There are various cables and a plate and a docking stand. It takes Anton Beur batteries. It does not come with a monitor but it fits a Transvideo or similar monitor with the bracket supplied. It does not come with any batteries. This is a great first sled, solid as a rock and is HD ready so you don't need a down converter and it was recently serviced at optical support. It has cosmetic wear and tear but nothing to get worried about at all. Any questions please email me at danny@onestopfilms.co.uk we were looking for areas around £3000 plus shipping
  18. Mike Looks fantastic. Really cool Danny
  19. Hey guys this is really interesting reading I was just about to start a post regarding this so I am happy I checked. I have a Pro Sled and today our EPIC arrived and I was putting it together, my sled is being serviced but I was looking at today and I was really thinking it might be to light for the arm to work properly and for it not to feel floaty (I have a G70) I was thinking as well that I would have to fully load it, is this the general opinion that this is the best thing to do.?? thanks Danny
  20. Hello I have a pro sled and a pro docking bracket, I want to get a different docking bracket, one that allows me to spin the rig on the stand completely, so I can check Balance.... As it sits when you pan the monitor always hits the batteries..... what does anyone else use? many thanks Danny
  21. So just wondered what people thought about whips, Im on a film at the moment and I did a whole three page scene yesterday and it was moving round and then suddenly whipping between two actors. How best is it to build the rig? I made the sled as small as possible slimmed it right down and bought everything into the center it seemed to work, but it wasn't quite right for me. Obviously everyone in video village was happy, but you know when it niggles at you cause your trying to get it blo^^^%%*&dy right and it just doesn't seem right. I had quite a light rig, the pro sled, red one(no batts powered from the sled), cookes, just wondered what other people do in that instance, when your trying to whip and stop and not have the inertia carry on taking you. I know you might say practice, which I do but its about the perfection of stopping... thanks in advance
