  1. Hey, I've been using axis1 since it came out and was the first one to purchase it. All i can say is wow! Rock solid system, with amazing personal support from developer Pete Hoare. While others are chasing where to service their motors (what Pete does for other), i had no issues whatsoever during more than two years of usage. And if Heden can hardly turn some stiff Ultrapeime in cold winter, Axis 1 will for sure. You can'tgo wrong with Axis 1 for sure!
  2. Finally, after two years of wait I got the very first Axis 1 remote. I can only compliment Pete Hoare for creating this amazing product. Top notch build quality, really quiet motor. THe most important part is smart lens calibration, which when carrying lens calibration, detects torque needed to rotate the lens and sets after calibration, so for tough lenses motor can be very hard, on broadcast lenses it becomes gentle. I guess anyone who needs one channel system, i vote not to look elsewhere! Tomas p.s. can't go wrong with personally carried out support from Pete!

  11. This is crazy... It's good we don't shoot any 3d in my country :D
  12. 3.5 and 4 are the same, just v4 having two hdsdi lines
  13. Aj, broadcast stuff to see air? :) upload the picture ;)
  14. I just don't power camera from my own batteries :) cameras come from rental houses with batts, so why? 1.5 kg with Alexa won't change anything...
  15. V4 should be available in the beginning of april! Can't wait to get final version!
  16. I have been testing the prototype for quite some time! I can't comment on power issues as i never pOwer cameras from my batteries except my own 2/3'hd broadcast camera, but with prototype v4 i did not have any hd/sdi issues, seems to be working great!
  17. Yes, but camera itself is so light, that even with this zoom whole setup will most likely not exeed 12 kg, so not much to be afraid of...
