I currently have a demo flex vest but I can not find a comfortable fit. I have made a scribble to help explain. I am used to operating my U2 vest so this is completely alien. At the moment it feels like (when loaded) it hangs on to the top front curve of my hip bone area. When the vest is closed, there is no more space left on the ratchets to close further. It has a slight bias to angling the top towards in instead of out. I have worn the vest for a few hours tops but I have been told that it is not uncommon to tighten up as the day continues because of foam warming. I have all supplied foam in the vest. When I was wearing the vest I was also curious of where the back section foam/frame should be in contact with you. It seems like its the two hips + the lumbar area as I feel the sides are only slightly away from my sides, is this the same for you? Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I've been flying a red for a couple of jobs but I have to get to the bottom of this. The 2x 12v AUX 4pin Lemos on the back of the body don't want to give enough juice to power accessories, I got a reading of only 3.75V. I spoke to some hire houses in the UK who assure me that they have powered accessories via these but I think they are getting confused and blagging it to say they work but the power is coming from the AB P-Taps. Anyway I spoke to RED Europe, helpful guys and I'm going to reset all the settings to see if I can get 12V to appear on this camera. Has anyone experienced this or has a fix for this, is there something i'm missing in the GPIO menus? Cheers guys, Andy J

Hey guys, My M-One is starting to judder without reason. I had feedback that suggests it is the potentiometer that needs replacing. Is there anyone in the UK that can offer support on this? I have tried calling and emailing Loon in the US but had no response. Big respect to Jim at Bartech for Uber quick responses. Andy

Just emailed IDX, they said: "Like you said, they are almost identical! The PowerCube was originally a request from Tiffen due to the high consumption demands from the Steadicam systems. However, the traditional camera / ENG market also started to demand this so the IDX product line also took this direction! The cell type is very slightly different meaning that the only difference in specification is: E-HL9S Max Discharge: 10A (at 120W) PowerCube Max Discharge: 10A (at 110W) Also, IDX now classifies the capacity as a MINIMUM expected capacity where the specification on the PowerCube is NOMINAL or AVERAGE. Therefore the capacities are: E-HL9S Nominal Capacity 6.00Ah / 14.8v = 88.8Wh PowerCube Minimum Capacity 6.15Ah / 14.4v = 88.6Wh Apart from the above, the specifications are almost identical and both products will fulfil your needs!" The powercube is more expensive than the 9S aswell. Hope that's of help. Any thoughts anyone? :rolleyes:

Cheers for getting back to me, I took a top view of the head to show the 5&6 pins empty and I coloured the diagram to show which connectors go to where. basically it is wired correctly. Thanks everybody. Andy

I have had 2 cables made by Marrell with the request of "Glidecam Gold 3 pin camera power to Red 6 pin". I have them now but after reading the forum I am a bit worried. I have attached a clear image so you can pass comment. Is this right and will it work having 2 pins power 4 according to my modified diagram? Thanks for the post Iain, my first post did not have my display my name, cheers for the heads up. just heard back from MK-V, their kit is unavailable. All the hires for focus kits with operators and hire houses tend to go through MK-V unfortunately.
