  8. Hi there I have had serious issues with strong winds throwing off the steadicam off balance. At times its difficult to hold off flags to cut off the wind due to the lights placed around the operator. How does one go about handling situations like this. I have heard of the windkiller kits, anything beyond this kit. please advice. Thanks Nitin
  9. Hi there Well u have quite a few choices with the 435 ES camera. 1. U could invert the stdcam upside down. 2. Depending if its a std Mag u do get brackets to fix on the camera. Chk on the Jerry Holway site. 3. Have the cam put in a low mode cage. ( i have mostly flown my kit in the same) Hope this helps Cheers Nitin Rao India.
  10. Hi there, I think the DP meant was the power surge, since the Red can draw upto 10amps. The bartech where as is also a 12volt run unit. Its possible the wires would have gone hot due to this. you can overcome this if u run the Red cam by its own supply (Red Brick batt). Hope this helps. cheers Nitin
  11. Hi there Has anyone flown in a panavision Platinium with std fittings on a steadicam. What issues does one have to face apart from the excess weight, can one fly it in low mode. Please enlighten me with the facts of its possibility. Regards Nitin

  13. Hi there sorry abt the delay in reply. Have been busy on shoots here in india. Anything u need regarding a steadicam is very much available. Unless for Gyros. Pls carry them if u think u would ever want to use it. U need a segway or a ATV u are more then welcome to contact me. Just shot on the Red myself for a single take of 58mins.
