Seems to be a lot of interested people for practice, so far have had 10 people contact me. Let's make it happen !!!
-
Count me in. I own a rig and I'm in the Altadena/Pasadena area. check your PM cheers Seems like there are a few of us here in Los Angeles that are interested in doing practice. Putting a group together doesn't appear to be that hard. Anyone have access to a community hall or such like that we could use ? Of course there are always parks weather permitting. Wonder if there is a stage some where we could use ? Any ideas anyone ?

Hi Brian, It would certainly be great to get a group of us together, the more the merrier as they say. I don't see any details to email you on your profile to get in touch with you !!! NP

Looking for a practice partner in Los Angeles area !!! Tired of chasing the dog, wife is annoyed with me following her around and my son seems to be really camera shy. If you have your own rig etc. and would like to do some real life situation practice let's get together.

Thanks Erwin, I have tried Visual Products & Isaia & The Power Broker. Also tried every site I can think of from Local 600 to ASC etc. Do you know any places like these in maybe the U.K. , Europe or Australia ? Nick P.S. How much XCS stuff do you have left ? Did you try: http://www.whitehouseav.com/ Even though Derrick doesn't own Whitehouse Audio Visual anymore, he still has contacts and resources. Give him a call. I'm always amazed of the stuff that he pulls out from his desk /garage /file-o-fax /back room. Regarding XCS. What are you looking for? Good Luck, Erwin Hi Erwin, Sorry not to get back to you sooner, I'm on nights on a show so have been pre-occupied and tired. Is Derrick still at Whitehouse, do you have a number? Thanks for your help. Nick

Thanks Jens, Really want a Arrihead 1, but just out of interest which of the 3 heads (Mini Worrel, Technovision & Mitchell ) do you think are the smoothest ride. Nick I had a Technovision MKIII for a while. Nice Head. Similar to the Panahead. Not as modern as the Arri MKII. Thanks for your help Jens, sorry not to have gotten back to you sooner I am on a show which is basically all nights. I have not used the Technovision Head and would have no problem in using it, just think it would be more difficult to get on a show as a rental. Thanks for the thought though. Best .... Nick Jens
