  2. hello, does anybody know/have a rig for rent on the 10 and 11 th of june in ny city it needs to able to carry a alexa/codex. thanks mike
  3. hey boys and girls, on the movie I am doing now we are using an alexa 26v with a codex, cmotion, boxx meridian and I thought this was a little much powering this from the 2 powercubes so I put a 26v battery plate on the bottom of my ultra2 so I could put the camera battery on the bottom bud for a ultra2 this not easy.from the moment I did this my electronics were a bit confused after I had to do reload on the 26v battery the codex did not want to power up every time....I ended up putting back the battery on the alexa. after this movie my rig is going back and see if there is a solution..... so I think I am saying DO NOT TRY THIS ON A ULTRA2 best mike
  4. hello boys and girls, I have a job coming op in new york city and I am looking to rent a full set. I own a ultra II myself so that would be ideal bud I wouldn't mind a pro.... it is a 2-3 day job in juni, don't know the exact date yet. can anyone help me or does anybody know where I should turn too thank you mike
  5. Exactly Ron, It is a really good design to get the sled a little bit away from your body, and also return the gimbal to a more comfortable position in low mode. Dont think it can be used as a j bracket as is. you could drill through and insert a pin in double shear to hold it underslung. I do own that thing(didn't know it was that expensive)and it does help a little bud it doesn't prevent lowmode.....especially with my length
  6. yes I did...they do not have it for a g-70 arm I am 6,7 so many times I have to go low mode..... thanx ron I will keep looking
  7. hey boys and girls, I am looking to buy a j-bracket does anyone know where I can buy one?I prefer new bud a good used one is also fine I own a ultra2 thanks mike

  15. hee ron/marco, I personally bought the 3d set which is not cheap.....bud they also offer a single engine unit which comes close to the digi fox pricewise and it is also possible to upgrade to a 2 or 3 engine unit later on service wise I do not have any experience with bartech bud I believe it is really good.,personally I think when having a problem and there is a 8/9 hour timedifference that might be a problem the service from cmotion is great the other day I needed extra cables I called them and the next day I had them. this is not possible going over seas!!! it sounds like I get commision from them!! <_< have a great one "big"mike

  20. hee guys and dolls I am trying to decide what to buy helical or shark fin? I have read the topics and it looks like helical is better but is more directional(60-65 degrees)than a shark fin so if you are in smaller locations I'm thinking this will be a problem or am I wrong? thanks peace out mike
