Hi everyone I have just been offered a film in India and will be deciding if I will take it or not in the next week or so. I would like to know from ops how have worked over there what are the most important thing I should 1. Take with me .2. Backup ?etc etc I would be using a Pro rig,arm,vest,Preston ,Modulas,Hermes, all wet weather covers hard mounts my full kit.We will be shooting RED I have emailed several Indian op's but no reply as yet. Hi Jay Value for money you can't go past the BFD system .Have a read in the follow focus folder all the pro's and cons are there for all to read. Good luck Louis

Hi everyone The cost of the fSTOP Wireless Lense Motor Controller for iPod/iPhone is $2350.00 us$ Nice device but for me way over priced for what you get. If you don't own a iPod/iphone $250 plus a digital motor $2300.=$4900 My BFD is looking very good thank you very much. Steadicam 5 Day Intensive - January 25 to 29, 2010 At Melbourne University summer Film school. This intensive theoretical and practical course will provide training to a high professional level in the use of steadicam operation for use in feature film, documentary and television production. By the end of the workshop participants should be able to confidently assemble, balance and operate steadicam in various modes and configurations. Each day will consist of lectures, demonstrations and intensive practical exercises with various steadicam rigs. A certificate of completion will be issued to participants who have satisfactorily attended and completed the workshop. Hi Everyone Thanks Alec No I was not aware of the change .The size may have changed when Jim removed the 2 small focus pointers that were replaced by a Red marker on the handset.? As I own 8 BFD's sn0023 and later I have found that the difference in size has no effect on the disc's as they have quite a "spring" to them and lock firmly around all of my hand controls. Even without the coverplate and screw to lockdown the disc 100% in place( to stop any sideways movement) by having the keyway screw the disc very nicely just sits in exactly the same place every time.
