  1. Hi everyone, well its that time where I clean out the closet. As such, one of my backup rigs is up for sale. It includes: PRO 1 Battery Rack (Can be modified to accept Anton Bauer) PRO 1 Lower Electronics - SD PRO 2 Monitor Mount PRO Monitor PRO 1.5” Post PRO Compatible (DCE) Upper Electronics - SD 3A Topstage Camera Plate Flight Case No Gimbal or Cables Shoot me a resonable offer!
  2. Hey Brett, Glad you like it! It was fun to build :) However, at times I wondered, with the number of connectors and various electronic components in the base, if it all would fit...it is tight in there! haha But, I must say that it is solid as a rock, and has pretty much everything you could ever want. How do you find the weight of it? Great to see it in action though! Much better than on the bench ;) ~Charles
  3. Hi Jason, I am still working on the controller chip to meet all the needs we require. At first I wasn't about to have all features designed into the firmware, but I may as well at this stage, and I should have a "full" version within a couple weeks. Darn work slows this project down... Also, thanks to all that have contacted me for input and suggestions or wanting to be put on the waiting list! I will be doing a small run shortly, and will keep everyone updated. If you want to be on the list email me asap to get a place. ~C
  4. Exactly. With flipping the gimbal though I do get a few inches lower than a ergo can I just drop my D bracket lower to compensate. ~C
  5. Hey Guys My ergo XCS does not have the hole in it either. But as Alec says, it does not need to be inverted for low mode...and I love it that way :)
  6. Hey Ari, I use my PRO D-bracket like this all the time. I got a 12" post on one side and the stock 3" post on the other. I can quickly drop the lens from 3- 12". I put a kipp handle on the arm post bolt of my 3A. The only problem is that sometimes I have to rotate the D section outward so it dosen't smash my monitor. I can take a pic if that doesn't make sense. ~C
  7. If I recall correctly, it is +/- 70 all around. ~C
  8. Hey Guido! I'll send you an email about the details. ~C
  9. Hey Job, I got the 315mhz parts in last week for yours. Damn thompson cameras using MY frequency...haha I'll send you a email when it's together. ~C
  10. Happy Birthday! Hope you had a good one! ~C
  11. Look at the spectators! They seem to be more interested in the AR than the game...lol ~C
  12. Ahh nuts, too late. Good thing you got them. I bought a "couple" 10-32 spares...like 10. Not sure what I was thinking really. I would have shipped one (two if you twisted my arm) if you had no luck. ~C
  13. Hey Guys, I wouldn't bother with a heatsink. It takes up far too much soldering realestate... get a fine tip, tin and be quick. Milliondollar tip - use tweezers! (she won't mind... it's for a good cause) Have fun! ~C
  14. Hey Mark, Oh geez, don't worry about being critical! You have great points! Yes there will be a heater, but it will be on a switch - why waste power when not needed?? As for the framelines/level, only the XCS level inserts the bubble onto the videosignal, the PRO just sends a voltage, and all the generating circutry is internal (at least on mine). Either way your suggestion got me thinking. I will see what it would take, as framelines are pretty easy to gererate. Yes it will flip and do all the gymnastics we operators expect - but not zoom as of yet. I can't find the bit addresses for that feature in the vid chip...arg ~C
  15. Hey Mark, I had considered this aswell. However, with the availabiltiy of downconverters and the majority of sled owners not having true HD lines, it seems like it is not AS pressing. On a positive note, I have found a chip that I may be able to make it work, but it would likely be a custom order thing. ~C
