  1. I guess that makes sense, thanks for clearing that up.
  2. That doesnt really answer my question. Naturally one would want to put the slide bar perpendicular to the base since thats how a normal camera would sit, but i am hoping someone with a better understanding of steadicams can explain which alignment would be more in line with the principle behind the pilots balance.
  3. Im trying to mount a slide plate for my two-camera stereo rig onto the pilot, however since the steadicam was made for a single locked in camera, im not sure whether it would be better to have it perpendicular to the bottom of the sled or parallel. The cameras will be adjusted equidistantly along the slideplate, so theres that to take into consideration too. Any ideas?
  4. You mean like this? look halfway down the page. Here i saw that too, but even though it says vga signal, from the looks of it, it seems to be a non standard cable. Apparently its called a lemo 4pin cable, i dont think thats going to work. Basically just like that, but with a desktop friendly plug. Right there in the info they say that they will provide adapter cables All i see is I'll give them a call and see if theres any way to adapt it to a standard cable. Otherwise im still looking.....

  6. Hi everybody, Im looking for a electronic viewfinder that accepts some sort of standard video in, it doesnt necessarily have to be made for a particular camera, just a standalone piece that i can build a mount for. If your wondering why, its because im using a camera thats like a SI-mini, just a sensor basically, and im looking to custom build it into a functioning camera.
