This was my back-up sled designed to be used with Film and the new heavier HD Cameras (Genesis). THE SLED: The Sled was my PRO I Battery Cage w/ Pro Top & Bottom J-boxes and a PRO Donkey Box II- retro fitted by Greg Bubb with his carbon-fiber 2" Post- The Post is very strong & super-ridgid when you have to put it all the way out for heavy HD Cameras. The Post goes from 26" to 41.5" fully telescoped. Greg also installed his XSC Gimbal and Ergo handle. (theres an extra gimbal handle that comes with this kit). The ergo and gimball handle have been wrapped with a memory foam leather- wrap for better grip and comfort (Don't knock it till you try it) I took the original PRO Chocolate Batteries and recelled them with NiMH batteries cells- these were lighter and far stronger than the NICADS or any other battery chemistry at the time. These batteries ( re-recell-just last year) can turn over any power sucking HD camera or easily deal with a ramp- happy ARRI. TWO FAST PAG CHARGERS and TWO SMART CHARGERS come with the Kit (w/ pig tail connectors) MONITOR: TB-6 or HD v-mount Greg Bubb installed his XCS TB-6 monitor with built -in his DUO Frame Line Generator, with his versatile & strong XSC monitor bracket. The monitor was purchased a little over five years ago and is in like-new condition. A Hood AND POWER CABLE is also provided in the kit. Also , because of the HD camera's heavy use in features and because I didn't want to let go of my TB-6 just because my focus puller needs to pull from an HD monitor, I designed a very easy to use plate that quickly attaches to the sled to be used with Panavison HD - V-Mount -on -board Monitors- it's light weight- and usually comes with any Panavison Genesis Package or can be rented by production from Panavision- This mount and the power cord that connects to the HD camera transforms the sled into a very versatile HD rig- since the power and rigidity probelms were already solved. This plate can also, with a little modification , be used for RED Camera Monitors, as well. EXTRAS: I'm including TWO PRO dovetail camera plates with focus motor rods and ONE XCS dovetail camera plate with TWO Rods. A TWO Stage -Rolling C-Stand & and Steadicam telescoping docking braket with a 2" GORELOCK Bracket for easy loading and unloading.
