  12. Greetings All, I'm a new and excited operator who's learning on a daily bases ways to use my rig. And as much as I also enjoy being able to check out some of my fellow operators reels online which are amazing to see. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a video or training dvd which can show me more. What I feel would be great would be to able to see the way someone operates on a set... how they go about getting the shoot. Were they walking back wards, or were they Don won. Did they go down the stairs backwards? Were they shooting from the side? It would be a wonderful thing for someone like myself... its easy to see the completed shot... but how did they get it... and what was the style. Anyway if anyone has one, or knows where I might find such a thing.. or a website. That would be amazing. Maybe a business idea for someone out there... who is really a great operator. Thanks and hope someone can help me out. cheers Patrick
  13. Hi folks, I have a Master Series Steadicam, which has the PAG battery system, Anyone know the easiest way to change from the PAG system to Anton Bauer.. I'm trying to do the change over... however I went with one way using an adapter plate but its not working because of vibrations. I need a firm attachment point on the rig. Does anyone have photos, or has anyone done the change over lately. I have AB gold plate, but this is so flimsy I'm afrad it will crack or not be strong enough... any thought. Thanks so much
  14. Hi folks... I'm wondering if anyone has tried operating a steadicam on Skates. I've done is handheld before and also with an Easyrig, I'm just wondering if anyone has tried to do Steadicam with a pair of Skates on? If anyone has or has any insite into this pls let me know, or any other ways. Thanks so much cheers Patrick
  15. Thanks Matt, glad to at least get some sort of idea what I can do. Where did you end up getting the work done... and does Bauer make a brackett that is an easy change over. Because with the pag system its a different locking. If you can let me know, that would be great. thanks again
  16. Hi, I?m wondering if anyone has ever or knows of anyway to mount a steadicam to a snowmobile. I?m suppose to cover a ski race, as well as a possible snowmobile race, and I?m wondering is there anyway to mount the steadicam safely to it? and is it dangerous. The only thing I?ve ever been warned about was water and boats, so I was wondering can it be done? Any thoughts?
  17. Hey Folks, Just purchased my first steadicam a used Master Series Film. I'm very excited about it... but I think I have to either get new batteries or recell, or change to another system other than PAG? Does anyone know a suitable system or what someone feels is the best system to go with? I already use the IDX system for a betacam, so if they are useable that would be great too. Look for any thoughts. Thanks so much Patrick Doyle Steadicam operator owner.
  18. HI I just purchased my first Steadicam, a used Master Series Film. I'm looking to either get the PAG batteries that came with it recelled, or I'm wondering if anyone out here knows what's the best replacement for them. Best priced, and will fit the rig the easiest. If you can let me know that would be great. Cheers Doylecam@gmail.com thanks so much
