  1. PRO Arm One owner PRO arm (mine) bought new around 2012 in perfect working condition. Minor scuffs from normal wear. I’ve not sent it in for a service because it has not needed it but I am willing to service it for the new owner if you feel it is necessary. I am only selling this because I have been working as a DP full time for the last 4 years. Also, my Ultimate 2 sled sold separately along with all the accessories. The new buyer for the sled already had an Arm. 4 black canisters 4 blue canisters Case for spare canisters Arm bag ARM POSTS 8” XCS Greg Bubb precision ground 6” PRO post 7” PRO post (cut down) 10” PRO post 10” Low mode PRO bracket 8” PRO to Tiffen adapter post 18” Solid post (only used with light weight set ups) $19,500.00 US Text or email me if interested. steve@fracol.com 323-301-6790 Thanks, Steve 784178D5-6CAD-47B4-B51C-61DF0A054D16.heic 66F0F9A1-8F1D-473D-9BD1-EF54C2378341.heic 198D84F6-2DDA-4F25-8B0C-4533D92A007D.heic CD721BD7-6CCB-423B-BEEF-7BA759CBED56.heic 34FAB3B4-F0CE-485B-809B-B4E76B495F74.heic 9BC832F4-5AA9-408C-BD0E-7DD767D1C56B.heic C61C05F0-5E60-4F95-BFEE-A78A7C245075.heic 0832ACAE-8C1A-4289-84A8-F5EE74A2B7E9.heic 07ADDE6E-22AB-4EF9-BF5E-767D38255C28.heic
  2. You can now purchase a Fauxlex directly from www.ozarkmountainoffroad.com. I was able to drop the price to 650.00 which will include domestic shipping. OMOR is my metal fab shop. I have been working toward doing this for years, but it finally came together last summer. I build lots of stuff but so far only Steadicam products have made it online. More to come later this spring depending on how busy I am working out of town. Also there are 2 demos in LA and 2 in Atlanta if anyone would like to test drive them first. If anyone in NY would like to host a demo let me know. I am glad to ship one to you in NY as long as you don't mind taking time to allow other NY based operators to demo. Two NY based operators just bought some last week so those are also around if you want to take a peek. Contact me for more info. In LA contact Brad Jarvis at 913-972-4200 or Timber at 706-573-9731. In Atlanta contact Peter Johnston at 704-763-1580. Of course you can call, text or email me with any questions you might have. Thanks! Steve Fracol 323-301-6790 steve@fracol.com.
  3. Introducing to the marketplace: “Fauxlex” INTRODUCTORY PRICE, 20% OFF (for a limited time) LIST PRICES 1,000.00 (Not personalized) -20% = $800.00 (for a limited time) 1,200.00 (Personalized with your name on the Fauxlex) -20% = $960.00 (for a limited time) Available in textured BLACK or RED. The Fauxlex is made as a mirrorless or full size DSLR camera “carrier” that doubles as a Steadicam practice unit. Originally, this was built as a “carrier” to make shooting on set with mirrorless cameras and DSLR’s (like the most popular we typically use, Sony A7 or 6500 series, Fuji X-H1 or Fuji X-T2, X-T3, Canon 7D, 5D, Nikon D800, etc.), easier to do hand-held and use on Steadicam. Obviously it can also be used as a practice weight for Steadicam operators as well. It is a great addition to every kit. THE DETAILS This design comes from four prototypes that were built and tested. The radius cut out on the front half allows easy access to menu systems on the camera and rear monitor. An Arri style M6 Rosette was added to the right side for accessories like a hand grip to be added for hand-held work. Also added were a 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 threads to the top for easy monitor placement. It comes with a battery plate adapter that can take AB or V mount plates. It is sold with AB style plate with bare wires and Dtap for powering your particular camera and accessories (you choose how to set that up). SIZE & WEIGHT Dimensionally, it was made to mock the approximate size of most full size cameras ranging from the Arri Alexa, Alexa Plus, XT, Panasonic Varicam, Sony Venice/F55, etc. With the rear portion removed you can move the battery plate to the front half. Then it mocks the approximate size of an Alexa Mini and many Red camera bodies as well as the Panavision DXL. Full size it weighs approximately 16.5 lbs without camera or battery. With an average camera and accessories it weighs in at approximately 22 to 24 lbs. Weights can be added easily to the inside of the unit to get to whatever weight you want to shoot or practice at that best matches your normal camera weight range. The front portion is approximately 8.5lbs without camera or battery. With an average camera and accessories it weighs in at approximately 14 to 16lbs. *With the Dtap and bare wires from the battery plate you can power your accessories and wire your rig with a power converter box to match the power source you need for your particular camera, Sony, Fuji, Canon, Nikon, etc. NOTE: The Fauxlex is sold with a rosette installed on the right of the unit but not sold with the hand grip as shown in the photos. This is shown only as an example. Call, Text or email to order. Steve Fracol 323-301-6790 steve@fracol.com

  10. For sale is my custom SteadiChair rig that was fabricated to work with 2" vehicle receiver hitches. I have used it on pickup trucks, SUV's, gators and golf carts, etc. Basically anything that has a 2" receiver will work. It works well. It is a mitchell base so just add your garfield mount and arm and your ready to go. The center is on a rotating set of bearings so you have the ability to spin 360 deg which I found to be very handy. 16. Hi everyone. I have not posted anything on the forum for a long time. I ran into Mark Walker at the SOC Awards last night and it reminded me to get on the forum and post my experience with BOXX systems and his fine customer service. We used his systems on Sons of Anarchy Season 4. The first 3 seasons I was always tethered with a video cable and the Genesis while doing both Steadicam and hand-held. Yup. It was not much fun doing Steadicam with a cable. This last season we had Alexa's and the BOXX. Needless to say it made quite a difference. For those of you that don't know, Sons of Anarchy is a very crazy fast moving set with a volume of 6 to 10 or so pages daily. I guess that is becoming the norm again for TV....hahaha. Often 3 company moves a day and we have done as many as 5. We basically shoot 14 hours everyday and we are always out in the desert or on the side of some highway or doing some crazy stuff on Steve Holiday's shooting bike with side car. Of course we are also spending days on our sound stage and back lot in North Hollywood. My point is that its a hard show on the crew as well as all the gear we use. The Boxx system worked very well throughout the season. Upon testing of the system at PREP our DP decided that he could indeed judge quality from the image and we went wireless! Most of the time the system was flawless. We had a few problems along the way, often broken cables or something simple and Mark was always fast to get on set with spares or whatever we needed. I have not seen a company in quite a while with this level of customer service. I appreciate that! The only real down side (if there was one) is that the systems are big and a bit heavy compared to what we are use to from a transmitter. I am not a fan of the array of antennas on top but it is a decent trade off compared to using a cable! They draw a fair amount of power and we had to have some custom mounts made and cables made to work well with the Alexa's from Otto's. It was not anything that we could not address during prep and once we were up and running life was good. It was very nice to not have to be restricted by the evil cable tether. I feel that the quality of my work was better this year and I attribute that to being wireless. If anyone has any questions about how we did things on the show to make it all work please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Steve
  17. I am selling my good old Rickshaw. It still works but could use a new rear wheel system. It has some high speed wobble but works well at slow speeds. It just needs some TLC. The old seat and post got weathered so you will want to add that but pretty simple. $850.00 OBO Contact Steve 323-301-6790 or steve@fracol.com
  18. I have a Kata Backpack that is about 4-5 years old. I ordered it durning NAB and it originally cost about 375.00. I used it when I first got it for about a year straight then I switched to more of a bike messenger bag. I have not taken her out on many trips lately so she must be sold. This is the bag that has tons of zippered compartments that are padded and even has a removable padded bag with its own carry handle for computers or hard drives. The bag is in very good condition overall with some ware on the handle on top and some minor fade from the sun. I have detailed photos I can email anyone directly that is interested. 140.00 OBO First real offer takes it. You all know how well made the KATA brand is. Good stuff. It needs a new good home!!!
