  10. geez Alfeo, I didn't give you permission to use my pic!
  11. Hey Thomas!! Good to hear from you old friend. I hope all is well and thanks for the info!
  12. Jeff, were you there with Glenn Beck last year? Also, I'm sending you a PM now. Trav
  13. I got nailed twice last year on US Airlines and American Airlines when they said they had no media rates. The worst was about $1,800 round trip for my cases + one personal check bag. I can't remember the details, but I remember I had my 3 steadicam cases, 2 were overweight and a 4th bag that was my personal bag (it was a 5 day outside shoot, couldn't fit everything in a carry on) flying with gear on anything other than Southwest domestic is a pain!
  14. So I'm heading over to Israel for several multi-camera productions and the truck uses fischer connectors (see below part of email). I have a set of King adaptors but last time I was over there they are totally different sizes which makes them useless. Steady-cam Please bear in mind that the OB truck triax cables are all with Fisher connectors. Please make sure the device will arrive with the right adaptor, or let us know if you need any support from our side. So my question to the community is does anyone have a jumper or set of connectors they would rent me (or hopefully the production company) for this trip. Or can anyone point me to someone who makes them for steadicam. thanks, Trav
  15. sincerly sad news. My family and I will be praying for you Hugo during this trying time.

    G-70 arm

as a G-70 owner should I be concerned about this also? Did Tiffen say this happens often?
  17. yea, as much as I would hate to turn down the work, flying a multi pin cable is STUPID. It will hamper your ability and sometimes it's better NOT to do a gig like that than take a chance of hurting your rep because of flying a monster thick cable like that. Best of luck
  18. has anyone found a link to this? seems down right amazing!
  19. I'm not sure who is the Op doing the concert for the NFL kickoff right now, but he is KILLING IT! very, very good!
  20. looking for some focus rods for my Ultra 2
  21. Ikegami HDK 77EC, brand new camera's and brand new HD facility, just over a yr old. Prior to the HD conversion I NEVER had any issues with the Kings Adaptors or the cable. As soon as they went HD the "hits" started showing up, but I never saw them on my monitor or my program monitor.
  22. Brant, thanks you so much for the info. I'm checking with local guys 1st, if no luck there I will be calling them today!
