  1. Hello All, I am selling my trusty EFP kit!!! The reason of this sale is that I am upgrading to a bigger rig. This kit as served me very well over the years and is a great rig for beginners. Few scratchings here and there but everything is very solid and works great The Kit includes: -EFP sled -EFP Arm (recently serviced by steadicam) payload up to 66 pounds -EFP vest -Transvideo cinemonitor IIIA (recently serviced by transvideo). I can Also throw in AB batteries (all need recelling) + charger. Marell green screen monitor (needs servicing) Make me a reasonable offer. Kit is located in paris, buyer pays shipping. 2. Loic Andrieux is one of the top 5 steadicam operator in France, he is usualy hired for the biggest french productions, along with Matthieu Caudroy, Valentin Monge and others...!!!
  3. Dear all, Thank you for notifying me on such short notice. Armando, I'm sorry if you took my words the wrong way. I was, as Brian said, showing excitement. (I am french...). I asked all these questions because the offer I found is second hand, and I don't want to make the wrong choices. Thank you all for giving me all these answers, I read them thoughtfully. I will manage to do the right choice. You will be hearing from me soon if I buy this sled. Thank you again Alexandre
  4. Amando, I think Alexandre is expressing excitement about having discussions on the steadicam forum. "I'm so excited I can't wait" is so common in the US I didn't give it a second thought. Out of context though, it totally looks like he's saying he's too busy for us! Thomas, The Archer 2 only comes with a G-50 now-a-days, if buying new. Alexandre, there should be plenty of literature about the Archer 2 on the Tiffen website and elsewhere. I assume you are worried about missing out on something by getting the Archer 1 you are looking at. I don't know the specific differences, other than the obvious physical shape/portability. The power ports may be slightly different, or at least some of them. There may be some 2pin Lemo 12v ports on the Archer that will be 3pin Lemo 12/24v on the Archer 2. Speaking of, is the Archer 12v only? That may be different. Good luck, maybe someone more familiar with an Archer will chime in, though I bet there is information if you do a search here on the forum. |-)~
  5. Dear all I am new on this forum and I can't wait to have great discussion here. I am wrighting this post because I might purchase a steadicam archer 1, and I can not manage to find a detailed technical list about this rig. Could someone help me by giving me the principal differences between the Archer 1 and the archer 2. Thank you in advance Alexandre
