Hi! I'm selling my Glidecam Gold Arm. It's been of great use but I've recently upgraded. It has some signs of use but all components still work 100%. It has six titanium springs which handles camera loads from 13 to 40 pounds (combined camera and sled carrying capacity ranges from 31-56 pounds). It has a standard socket block so should fit into most vests. The arm post is 5/8'' Located in London, ideally looking for a buyer locally but can of course ship. First off, I know this thread should be in the Arm's section of this forum. I'm posting here to get more views, admins if you would like to move it, go ahead. Nope it wasn't the spring that broke. I was oping a music video with a Red One, red drive, vlock batt, a nikkor 50mm, red one monitor, and a Bartech on the top stage. After balancing my Zephyr I began loading the Arm, it was maxed out, but still properly operable. The arm's were slightly raised. After Oping on and off for 6 hours or so, I was in-between takes talking to the Director and KACHING.... the whole rig dropped. Luckily I prevented the rig from hitting the ground. See picture below. I emailed Dan Ikeda via advice from a local Steadicam Operator and friend in the SF Bay Area. Now I'm asking you guys, what to do next? I Have insurance with a $1,500 deductible as well. Brent

Hi there. I was going through some old things and found this unused arm post adapter. It is meant to go into an older Master series arm, with the spiral thread, and ends in a 5/8" post that can slip into a Pro or XCS gimbal. I originally bought this for a Master series arm I owned but have since sold and upgraded to Pro/XCS. No use for this post anymore. It has never been used, anodizing still fully intact. Ordered from Tiffen a few years ago. According to Tiffen price list, this part costs $189 USD. I'm looking for $150 USD or make me an offer. It is brand new. Located in Toronto.

Selling my IIIA Gold Spring Arm. Weight range is 30-63 I believe. Throw on a 20 lb sled and you only need a light camera package to load the arm effectively. Arm is in great shape and was serviced by Robert Luna 3 years ago. No creaks or noises from the arm.

Putting the feelers out there. This arm has treated me very well and is in very good condition. The arm used to belong to Scott Sakamoto, his name is engraved in the arm and I will include custom Magnesium parts that were given to me that are lightweight and will ensure a long life in case you want to switch out hinges and rotate annually etc. Robert Luna serviced it about two years ago, the pin has been shaved so that it fits Pro and Tiffen Socket blocks. Comes with an arm bag, cover sleeves and a 6in arm post. Asking $5000 USD obo

[Complete Steadicam System] The time has come for me to part ways with my starter steadicam rig! I bought the system about 2.5 years ago and it has done me well. The arm was recently serviced by Tiffen. The sled recently serviced electronically and mechanically by Terry West and Robert Luna so it is up to specs! This is a fantastic starter package for someone looking to get started with a pro rig. Sled, monitor yoke, dock, and various bits and pieces come in a standard production hard case. Included is a universal mounting plate. The sled is all upgraded internal HD and 24/12v internal power wiring. There's also an analog BNC and HD BNC that runs through the system. 2 Anton Bauer battery mounts have been added as an upgrade to the sled for power. Cam jam monitor arm with yoke is a must have. Has greatly helped with my rig balancing and switching back and forth from low mode. You simply just flip the monitor and it doesn't change anything with the rig's balance. The yoke fits pretty much any monitor you'd want to put on it, but additional spacers may be required to fit the different monitors out there. I have spacers for a SmallHD DP7 that I will include. Most will say the Master Series sled doesn't fit onto the IIIA arm, and you are right! Luckily I got a new post from Robert Luna that makes the 2 compatible. Works flawlessly. Ultra II vest shows some signs of regular use, but is still in great working condition. Safety release works perfectly, socket block is undamaged. Bartech analog unit has been fantastic. Includes a hand unit, receiver, motor, and various power cables, motor cable, etc. Anton Bauer LP2 Dual Gold Mount charger with 2 HC Dionic AB batteries. Both were recently sent back to Anton Bauer to get re-celled. The batteries are in perfect working order. See below for a list of what's included. There are a few things I didn't talk about here. Included: -Master Series upgraded HD sled -Docking bracket -Low mode bracket -Camjam monitor arm with yoke -Various BNC cables, tools, miscellaneous bits and pieces -Hard case for the sled, docking bracket, cam jam monitor arm and yoke -CP IIIA arm -Allen wrench for adjusting the arm tension -Rain cover for the arm -Master Series sled compatible post for IIIA arm -Long post -Bag for the arm -Ultra II vest with socket block (can be switched to either side of the vest) -Soft bag for carrying the vest, arm, rain cover, and Mitchell hard mount -Mitchell hard mount -Bartech analog wireless follow focus receiver -Bartech hand unit -Wireless follow focus motor -15mm rail adaptor for motor -Power and motor cables for Bartech -Bartech system carrying case -Anton Bauer LP2 dual gold mount charger w/power cable -2 HC Dionic AB batteries Total is $24,400 This is practically everything you need in order to get operating. Great rig bought in late September of 2011! Kept it around as a backup/running rig with my G70x arm, but now selling it to buy more accessories for my Ultra 2. Besides a couple aesthetic scratches, a couple tape marks, and a little dust in the hard to clean spots, it's in great working condition. Zephyr HD Kit (V-Mount): Rolling Hard Case Sled Arm (used only for a few months) Vest Weights Docking Bracket Second Battery Mount Low Mode "F" Bracket 6" Arm Post for a G70x/G50x arm to the Zephyr Sled Socket Blocks for both the Zephyr Arm and a G70x/G50x arm With the extra Arm Post and Socket Block, you have the option of using the Zephyr Vest and Sled with a better Tiffen Arm.
