  1. As new, never used Steadicam Zephyr system. If you're here, you likely know what you're looking at and what this is so I'll keep it short. This is the complete package, current Steadicam Zephyr system, which can fly a total net camera load of 23 lbs (Arri Alexa mini is no problem. Ursa, FX6, and RED rigs also a breeze. This is the top-end rig in Steadicam's mid-range kits, and perfect for the commercial operator starting out, or someone who wants to keep their gear slim, yet professional and definitely recognizable. This is a true STEADICAM system, and includes everything as sold retail; Zephyr Sled with 7" HD Ultrabright Steadicam Monitor, A-30 Zephyr Arm, Zephyr Vest. Optional v-lock battery mount included. The only thing I've misplaced is the manual DVD and BNC to RCA adaptor plugs, both of which disappeared during a recent house move. Otherwise, everything as in the following link is included in the Steadicam flight case: https://tiffen.com/products/steadicam-zephyr-camera-stabilizer-with-7-hd-monitor?variant=29434095206442 This was bought to be part of a specialty camera equipment rental house's inventory, however, was ultimately found to be an unreasonable rental option to get good use out of for most clients, due to the skill required to actually operate this rig. As a result, it was NEVER rented out or used at all. In fact, the plastic protective film is still on the monitor and the pictures will show not a mark on the dovetail. The rig was taken out and tried on, with maybe a DSLR rig attached a few times to test everything is working, but that is about it. It has otherwise sat in storage within its flight case for a little over 2 years. There are a couple of small scratches on the Vest and Arm that look like small rub marks, which have been there from the store, I imagine these are just from the heavy parts moving around a bit during shipping? But are only visible on close inspection. Otherwise, this kit is as new and available at a steep discount. This kit is retailing for $9995 USD brand new, and $13, 899 CAD brand new retail BEFORE taxes and shipping. And even more directly from Tiffen! Save a few K buying an as new, never flown rig! Available for meet and pickup in and around the Greater Toronto Area or the London and Western Ontario Region. Willing to meet US buyers at the Buffalo NY or Port Huron MI border ports. Also willing to ship within Canada and the US ONLY and ONLY after some satisfactory checks and balances for both parties. Asking $11, 000 CAD, or $8000 USD or best REASONABLE offer. I'm willing to work with a serious, motivated buyer, but please be reasonable :) Contact for more information.
  2. Clearing out the shelves before I move. Check my other posts for stuff you might need. Most of it is backup gear/aks, lightly used over the last 5yrs. Make me offers! BlackMagic Video Assist 5" onboard recorder complete. Also great as a studio return monitor. Custom AB battery mount for your sled, short and long p-tap power and signal cables. One Archer2 cable for those little SMB HDSDI connectors. HDSDI loop thru. Great as a field recorder to check your work even if the camera walks away, or retain a copy for *ahem* posterity. Touchscreen is immaculate, latest firmware, includes everything, including custom screen protector. Hoping to sell the whole kit, but no SD cards included. Backup Libec ZC9-pro clamp-on ENG zoom controller, barely used. Includes 8-pin to Fujinon 12-pin adaptor. Decent little backup, I just had it in case the Stanton or G-zoom went away. If anyone is interested, make reasonable offers. Everything works great, I just don't use this stuff. Located in Los Angeles, local preferred, or buyer pays shipping.   3. XCS TB-6 SN: 0173 Manufacture Date: 05/10/2002 I purchased this used about four years ago, and used it for little over a year with no issues. The monitor works just fine. I haven’t personally had it serviced but it has sat in a pelican case for the majority of the time I have owned it. In addition to the TB-6 I am also selling: - Pelican Case 1450 - Redbyte Decimator - Blackmagic Design SDI to Analog 4K MiniConverter - Mounting Pin with Pin Receiver - Plastic Rain/Dust Cover for TB-6 - Sun Shade for TB-6 $2,000 OBO (I also have Down Converters for sale in a nearby listing;
  4. Hello all! I've been having some interest in buying a Betz universal steadicam plate but wanted to hear what other ops have as their go-to camera plate for the typical builds (Alexa Mini, Red, Blackmagic and so on)? Primarily been using my PRO Arri/Pana plate on my DB2. Thank you all for any input/advice on this matter! Hope you all stay safe and may your face shields stay fog-less ha, Joe
  5. Is anyone interested in a super lightweight threaded base plate for a HyperDeck Shuttle? I designed this plate to keep the weight down on my recorder and still give me some attachment options. The prototype is almost identical in weight to the stock rubber lined base plate. This plate offers two 1/4-20 holes and six 4-40 holes in the correct pattern to add Anton Bauer studs to mount on an unused battery plate. If there is enough interest in these, I'll do a short run of them. The final plates will be anodized black. I still have to get final pricing as that will be influenced by the number being made in the first run.
  6. EDIT: I'm also including a tally as well. Some wear and tear but nothing that affects its functionality. Standard 4-pin lemo connection, two tally lights, junction box and diode. FOR SALE: Selling the left-over parts of my MK-V Evolution sled. Sled includes center post, center post cable, bottom stage, battery rack. Gimbal, Top Stage and Monitor Bracket NOT included. The sled was originally built for PAG batteries but has since been modified with Gold Mount battery plates. The TB-6 is in excellent condition with minor wear-and-tear. I’m also including a rain cover for the TB-6 as well as a sun hood for it (the strap for the sun hood is NG, so it would need a little love). Included in the package is a Marrel digital horizon. Unfortunately the digital level doesn’t feed video so an additional BNC cable from the sled to the monitor in order to pass the video to the monitor. I’m also throwing in a Decimator I, a Blackmagic SDI to Analog Mini Converter, 8-pin monitor cable and an MK-V-to-XLR cable as well. Asking $3,500 for the whole package but am open to other offers. Also, I’m willing to break the package up. All reasonable offers accepted! Located in North Hollywood, CA Feel free to message me on here or email me at: aaron.gantt@gmail.com with all questions and offers. Cheers! Aaron
  7. Selling my almost brand new Blackmagic MiniConverter SDI to Analog 4K. The unit is in perfect working condition with the only damage being purely cosmetic (a scratch or two with some light damage to one of the dip switches; does not affect any functionality). My reason for selling is that I need some extra cash and this is my backup downconverter. I am also including a P-Tap cable with a built-in 12volt DC regulator (built by Terry West, so you know it's quality). The regulator is a must; the converter only runs below 15v so unless you deplete your charge to under 15v you won't be able to power the unit from your sled. Brand new, the unit is $280 and the cable was around $200. Looking to get $420 for it, OBO. Buyer pays shipping, or we can arrange a pickup (located in Van Nuys in LA). 8. For sale... Hyperdeck Mounting Plate (cheeseplate) with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes. This is for the Blackmagic Hyperdeck. New it's $100. I'm selling it for $50. 404-630-8200
  9. I'm selling my blackmagic production camera. I have the original box and it comes with davinci resolve. Works perfectly, looks great. I just bought it for one project and ended up not using it much and stuck to a scarlet x for slowmo. Looking to sell for personal reasons. The camera is in fantastic condition and shoot beautiful imagery. Please email kevwelch@mac.com for interest

  11. Hi guys, I'm new and I'm not an expert, but I'm trying to find a good-but-cheap follow focus for a Blackmagic Cinema Camera mFT 2.5K. This is my list of preferences, and I hope in your advices. 1. Engineerable: FocusShifter (50$) http://www.focusshifter.com/follow-focus-dslr/buy/ This is my first choice because it's so simple and so effective, and the minimal “rubbery” backlash seems useful to smooth focus changing. But I fear that the elastic band that fix the FocusMarker panel can stress the lens. Am I thinking wrong? 2. HONDO Garage: EverythingYouNeedPro (239$) http://www.hondogarage.com/index.php/pr ... u-need-pro 3. D|Focus: D|Mount_Bundle (240$) http://dfocussystem.com/d-bundles/d-mount-bundle Third choice (perhaps screwed upside-down to the top of the BMCC). It's light and cheap, but I don't like that the marker doesn't face directly to the user. 4. Edelkrone: FocusOnePro + Rods + CameraPlate (600$) http://edelkrone.com/e-store/61-focuson ... 80408.html Last one... even if I must admit that I like this more than the D|Mount (and FocusOne's marker face to the user!) but it costs more than double! Any advice? Thanks
