  1. Hi all, Selling my Transvideo 5" Rainbow II Superbright in excellant working condition. 90 euros + shipping (the monitor is located in France) I used it as a backup monitor Thanks
  2. Teletest PZL1702 6"SD PAL monitor. The monitor has been used but is in very good shape. Power with 4-pin XLR and AntonBauer type batteries. Open to offers Buyer pays shipping
  3. In browsing through my Zephyr's monitor (model MSC-200565, HD 7" 800 nits) manuals, I've come across a monitor setting I haven't seen before on other monitors: Colour Temperature. The setting is explained in two sections: And also: Now, my question... in what situations would I be using this setting? Am I setting it to match the ambient light? If so, when am I supposed to be in 9300K light?
  4. Looking for a pre-owned RainbowHD7 SBL, preferrably located in Europe. Thanks, Frank
  5. hey yall i am interested in a cam jam yoke for my Transvideo HD6" I will consider other yokes, but I am particularly interested in cam jam because of how much articulating you can do, transvideo yoke doesnt seem to do as much, so far as i can tell. lemme know! brett.
  6. Currently shooting a few indies right now and was looking into buying an on-board/field monitor for myself. I would preferably want to go with something that gives good light outside, so i'm assuming i'll need something with a good amount of nits. I've heard TVLogic carries a sun bright monitor, but haven't checked one out before. Anyone have experience with this? Also, has anyone heard of Bon monitors? I hear they carry outdoor monitors as well? Thanks!
  7. Hello everyone, I have an Flyer LE which is the 12/24 model with a 19lbs weight range. That I have been using for a year and half now. It's has been great and more recently since I have found some steady work to use it with it. The thing I wanted to ask was about rewiring the sled to HD. I have the original monitor that came with the flyer and I've wanted to swap it out for a newer monitor maybe one I can add a yolk to it. Though I know that steadicam has a proitiary 9-pin connector which doesn't allow me to use anything esle.. A few things I'm unsure of is if I rewire the sled would I loss value in the rig or gain it? Also is there way to rewire it so that I can use original flyer monitor incase of a backup? I know many monitors have either a 4 pin xlr like the marshalls and I know the small HD's have a different plug in which to power them. So I figure I could get a cable to power either of them through a p-tap connector. Please correct me if I am wrong. I've been operating for a year and half now and I'm still learning. I was curious if there are anyone else that does rewiring I'm located in NY. I have contact some people though are busy at the moment though it would be great if anyone knew anyone else. Thank you all! Hope everyone has a great 4th of July.

  9. Ok, I have had this monitor for a while now. It's been sitting in the Pelican case doing nothing. I hadn't looked at it for a while and now that I took it out I see it has some shallow superficial scratches on the screen. It seems as though its from wiping the monitor. Or possibly from some foam... I"m not exactly sure. You Cant see them until the monitor has the sun directly in the frame. It's still a nice monitor but I would say it's b quality now. I am including the yoke with it. It is meant to go on a baby pin. I had found a baby pin with a 1/4 20 on the other end which worked on my sled. you would probably need to adapt it somehow to a different rig unless you have a centered 1/4 20 on your sled as well. It was $150 when I bought it. I would like to get $1100.00 obo Let me know if Anyone is interested. 661 378 8016

Hello!, i've been working on a really big chart of all the products for steadicam operators out there, and as i made some research on some field monitors i realized there was some going from 5" to about 10.1" but my question is. ¿what's the maximum and minimum inch size monitor you would put in your rig? The purpose of this is so i can include or exclude some monitors on the chart. I will share all this info with you guys when i'm done. i'm sure you'll find it helpful. Thanks.
  12. I am currently searching for a complete Bartech kit to purchase, as well as a 5.6" TV Logic monitor. If anyone has leads on where I could find these items used, please let me know! Thanks in advance.

  14. hey yall! I am looking to sell my very lightly used Transvideo 6" CineMonitor HD Classic Enhanced SuperBright (eSBL) with VirtualHorizon1. It has probably only spent 6 days on set. I purchased it in September 2013. The monitor is in mint condition, has low hours, and when not actually flying it remains covered with a microfiber bag (even when on the stand) and in the case. I am asking 4000, my original cost was about 4700. I absolutely love this monitor, the internal Virtual Horizon is terrific, and there are a lot of user functions that can be set to just a click away. The monitor brightness has a wide range and is over 1000 nits, various color temperatures, etc. You can view in classic green mode (great for bright sun), color, or black&white (my personal preference). Here is the full description on the Transvideo website http://www.transvideo.eu/store/CineMonitorHD6-eSBL-Classic I have all of the original materials. The 2-year warranty is still valid until September 2015. The reason for this sale is that I do a lot of work on the beach and am looking to purchase the new Transvideo X-SBL for just the extra edge when Im being blasted by the sun in Malibu. I have been in touch with Marianne Exbrayat at Transvideo and she has said that Transvideo will perform a quick check up to verify all functions, as well as load the latest software and firmware as necessary with no charge. I also have a few accessories for the monitor (pelican, transvideo bnc, pro mount) that I am willing to discuss as well. Feel free to call, text, email, or message me. Have a good one! brett. 404.408.5951 12@brettmayfield.com
  15. We are pleased to announce the arrival of Transvideo 6" Evolution3 X-SBL Enhanced monitor in our California office. The 6" Cinemonitor HD/SD Xtremely bright monitor is the brightest monitor available today with a backlight output of 2000 NITS. Of course it displays all HD standards. Transvideo anti-glare optical enhancement technology further reduces reflections and enhances contrast. The monitor can be set in 2 operating modes either for outdoor or indoor viewing. In Xtreme Bright mode, details in both the dark areas and highlights are maintained even in full sun without hood. Even when set in Xtreme bright mode, the power consumption remains very low (1.6Amp @ 12v). The basic price of the 6" CinemonitorHD X-SBL Evolution includes the Virtual Horizon2. The Virtual Horizon2 is the only electronic horizon featuring inertia/acceleration compensation and shock analyser. The sensitivity and direction are adjustable with 6 available renditions. The display can be moved anywhere on the screen. Inertia/shock compensation can be turned off. Transvideo new Cal-On-Tap is the fastest short-cut to zero calibrate the Horizon: once your rig is set, just tap on the screen or on the Transvideo logo. Cal-On-Tap can be turned off by the user. A complete family of Yokes, Bridges and Rods systems is available to fit most rigs. Contact us for a professional and friendly service! 16. Hey yall I was operating this weekend and my Transvideo monitor started scrambling while standing by for the shot. It happened again and I quickly realized it was when my AC was receiving a call from the walkie talkie. He was within arms reach. I asked him to change channels, try again, and I again lost my feed but it was up immeditaly after releasing the push-to-talk button. It was both when calling and receiving. I did not have a wireless system on board. Camera was an epic and the path of the signal was camera-breakout-sled-monitor-recorder. There was also a sync box pluggin TC into the breakout. Sled is a cinelive if that is pertinent. The walkies were standard fare and were open (no surveillance, earpieces, whathaveyou) Does anyone have any specifics as to why this would occur? I read through another post (http://www.steadicamforum.com/index.php?showtopic=18093&hl=%2Bmonitor+%2Binterference) regarding interference from an operators cable to the PA system. Was I experiencing the same in reverse? Is there a way to combat this? My BNC cables are of the standard lot from the wall at filmtools. Beefy but maybe middle of the road. There were no "unnecessary" breaks (eg barrels etc) in the signal brett.
  17. Hi all, I'm selling my XCS monitor bracket. Very versatile, in great shape. It comes with extra long rods, in case you have a light monitor and/or you like it far out. Asking 550£ + Shipping worldwide, ship at buyer's cost.
  18. Hi all, Reluctantly I am letting go of my wonderful Cinema Products Master Steadicam Greenscreen 6" Monitor. Apart from being one of the brightest, highest contrast, sharpest and most easily sunlight viewable monitors ever made, the unit being a CRT phosphor screen is relatively heavy on its own, which has proved extremely useful when you need to add extra weight to the bottom of the rig. It works fine, as seen in the pictures, and comes with a universal mounting plate, illuminated level, and XLR / BNC to Lemo power / video cable. It has controls for vertical height, brightness and contrast, and is so bright I have had to use a hood with it indoors just to avoid it illuminating the talent's face! The monitor is located Wiltshire UK. Very sad to see it go, but needs must. Make me a (sensible) offer! This is NOT an accurate representation of the quality of the picture, which is excellent, but to give you an idea of how bright the monitor is in compared to normal indoor lighting.
  19. I participated in the group buy for the BON FM-073SCH, almost identical with the Ikan MD7 (the BON has some additional features, flip image etc.) and wanted to share with you a document with you I got from BON. I recently bought a Zephyr (SD version) and was figuring out if the yoke/stand BON offers would be mountable on it. The stand has a hole on the bottom to mount it with a screw/bold and they provided me with this PDF with specific data about length, width, height of the diferent parts of the monitor. I also want to mention that Jason from BON answered my questions right away (answer didn't take half a day). As soon as I get the monitor (they will be shipping 3rd or 4th week of december) I can share my experiences if you are interested. 7 INCH-STAND DIM.PDF

  22. Hey guys, late notice I know but I'm hoping to see if anyone has a monitor that is somewhat viewable in sunlight. Now I'm not expecting a $5,000 Transvideo but I'd like to keep the budget somewhere close to the $1000 mark (hence a realistic semi daylight viewable). I've seen the 7" Marshall V-LCD70MD-3G 800 nit advertised for around $1100 here in Australia, just nobody seems to have it in stock. Would prefer a seller in Aus as I have a shoot on 5/6 of October and as always, time is a factor. So on the off chance that someone is looking to offload such a device, please hit me up quickly. Thanks for reading. Michael.

  25. I am selling my spare recorder. used very little. 900.00 The Atomos Samurai HD-SDI Hard Disk Recorder captures 10-bit HD resolution video directly from you HD camera and stores it to an internal 2.5" laptop drive. Images are captured using Apple's lossless ProRes codec and are ready to edit on Final Cut Pro or on a Windows machine equipped with the ProRes codec and a supporting NLE editor. Along with capturing video, the Samurai supports 12 channels of embedded SDI audio and also has 2 channel line-in inputs as well as a single headphone output.A high resolution 5" on-board monitor provides you with an accurate representation of what the camera is seeing, eliminating the need to mount an extra monitor. Touch screen controls - presented with large icons on an uncluttered interface - give you easy access to record and playback functionality as well as to the system's menu. Some of the advantages the Samurai has over the Ninja unit are timecode, genlock and the ability to synchronize multiple units.Samurai makes it easy to go from the capturing to the editing process. Once capturing is complete, simply remove the 2.5" SSD or HDD with its caddy from the recorder and place it in the included docking station, which interfaces to the host PC via FireWire 800 or USB 3.0. A LANC connector lets you integrate the Samurai with cameras and devices that utilize the LANC communication protocol. Samurai comes with 2 batteries that securely attach to the unit, but uses only one at a time. Features Post Production Quality, 10-Bit Recording: Samurai takes the uncompressed video output from your camera and, in hardware, encodes it in real-time to visually-lossless Apple ProRes, recognized across the industry as a class-leading codec for editing and post-production A Pipeline to Your Timeline: The Samurai's tight Apple ProRes integration means recorded footage is instantly and natively editable in Final Cut Pro. No need to waste time trans-coding or converting from other camera formats. Samurai uses standard connections like FireWire 800 & USB 2/3 Incredibly High-Capacity Storage: Samurai uses massive traditional 2.5" Hard Disk Drives (Spinning Disks) for most projects and Flash- based SSDs for rough-and-tumble use Recycle Older Cameras: Samurai records direct from the HD-SDI output from your camera, so it doesn't care what format your camera is: whatever it receives through the HD-SDI connection it will record Simple-to-use 5.0" Touchscreen: Access all of the Samurai's operations via the fast, responsive touch interface. New features are easy to add with software upgrades. All the main functions are accessed through big, colorful icons. It's so simple, there's no need for complicated menus
