  1. Hi! I'v just recently got the Steadicam Solo w. arm & vest. I'm a newbie and only used handheld knock off's in the past. I have no problem balancing the sled, but i have a few question on how to set up the arm properly. What is the proper way to setup the arm ? What i do now is that i adjust the arm so that it's still in front of me, and then mount the sled. It works quite we'll, but when moving left and right the arm wants to get away from me. Is this normal and something i should just "counterbalance" with my hips ? Any input much appreciated! (I have the efp dvd and the operators handbook on order) Regards Paul L.
