  1. Hello everyone, I just want to compile a list of arm post sizes. Please add or correct me when I am wrong: Master Series, Ultra, Shadow, M1: .725 (3/4") 3A, PRO ARM (Titan & Atlas?): .625 (5/8") Flyer, Pilot, Archer, ProVid: .500 (1/2") Thanks.
  2. Hi, Newbie here, I'm currently looking for an arm right now and I've been doing a bit of research. Does anyone have any experience with the following arms? - FlowCine XArm - NB Stabiliser Arm - SmartSystem Arm X1 - AVDONIN A5 Arm Quite frankly I'm really looking towards the traditional G70(x) arm but they're not always available in the market, like hot singles in my area.. I'm willing to give these new arms in the market a try as beginner arms and eventually have them as back up arm. They're just super far from where I live and also no demos these days (Covid). The data is only as good as it's presented on their website and I can only find really limited resources and testimonials. Please let me know if anyone has any opinions about those arms. Thanks! (Leaning towards SmartSystem and NB)
  3. Hi there! Fairly new to steadicam, I have a zephyr rig and the arm post I was given was around 4 inches / 2.54 cm. I'm 4'11" or 149cm and most of the projects I have been on the subjects have been at 5'6" at the shortest. For the most part, I was just lifting my rig and barely putting weight on my arm in order to get to their eye level which makes the arm sort of useless. I was told by a friend that I should get longer arm posts and have found only one website on it so far but I could be missing something. Any tips on where I should start looking ? What's a good range of sizes for someone my stature? How I should go about traveling with several of these on me? I use a large pelican for the arm, vest, and dock while the sled I carry by itself. Thanks guys!
  4. Attached is a pdf that explains how to change the Latex bands on an Aigle Concorde G6 Vision arm. If you can afford to change the bands by Aigle, I suggest you do it, but if you cannot, this is how I did it. AIGLE_CONCORDE_G6_VISION__ARM_–_DISMANTLE.pdf

  8. Hi everyone. First of all I apologise in advance if I make any spelling or grammar error. I'm from Spain. Lately I've been having problems with my aero-30 arm making creeking noises. I would like to know if there is a special oil/lube I can apply or if something like WD-40 would work. Back in January, the arm might have gotten a bit wet due to sudden rain. But I'm only having the problem lately so I doubt it has anything to do with that. Thanks a lot!

  11. For the G-70x owners. I’ve made two videos in an effort to share everything I know about the arm. I did my best to make them as comprehensive as possible, so they’ve turned out quite a bit longer than I’d planned, but it’s my hope that they might help a new user of the arm get started, and introduce a seasoned user to some potentially new ideas for tuning and maintenance. Please bear in mind that these are my own opinions, that they may or may not be correct, and that you assume all personal risk to your arm if you choose to disassemble your equipment. If you are unsure about anything, don’t do it, and send you gear in for professional maintenance and repair.
