  1. Can anyone provide info on what the level will look like and how customizable it will be as far as positioning on the Cinetronic Gen 2?
  2. PRO II MONITOR + LEVEL SENSOR Hi all! I am selling my PRO II monitor with upgraded electronics (upgraded heat sink and gold power supply) along with my PRO level sensor. I just had both the monitor and sensor inspected up at GPI PRO this afternoon, and both worked flawlessly (see attached picture). This monitor package includes the following: - PRO II monitor - PRO Level sensor - 8-pin LEMO power/video cable - Monitor hood - Fitted Rain cover - NEW Plastic monitor covers (NEW covers! Probably the last new covers for this monitor left on earth) the old ones are also included. The new covers really make the monitor look great! I am asking $6,000 O.B.O. + Shipping for everything. I'm located in Los Angeles for a local pickup Pleas feel free to e-mail me with any questions. valko.steadi@gmail.com **PICTURES** -TV
  3. Nebtek Solar 7 SC monitor. HD-SDI and Composite inputs and outputs. Power with 8-pin Lemo, AntonBauer type batteries, or 4-pin xlr. $2150. Brad Olander 760 944 4475
  4. On an MK-V V2 Genesis, I'm flying with a Ruige TL-s700HD monitor. The monitor has a tally built in, but the tally input is a VGA plug (15 pins). We have a photoresistor on the rig that runs to a seperate Tally light, but we use that for talent. That is the tally direct form Howard at MK-V. We have a few rigs in our studios and we use all photoresistors for our tally lights, including our pedastle cameras. After lengthy ammounts of research, I found that to active the tally, you simply need to close the contact between the ground and a pin, but the Ruige website is not user friendly and I can not find a manual that has a pin out for the plug. After testing with jumper wires, I found that pin 5 and 11 activate a green tally. Of all the combinations that worked, I couldn't get the red(which it is suppose to have) to work. Today I wired a photoresistor I had to a vga cable and tested the wires to see which ones worked. I got it to work, but I feel that there must be a better solution. My question is this: Does anyone have experience with this monitor, specifically using it with a tally. Is there a way to run a VGA cable but only wire it up with 2 wires (and I would put a sensor on the other end). My information may be a little confusing, I'm sorry for that. Thanks in advance!
  5. Here are some images and the latest design/info for our new TwinArm SteadiCam Monitor Mount. The goal was to mount the 10” Transvideo monitor and its yoke to the post clamp at its balance point. Mounting the monitor at its COG allows the operator to change the viewing angle including the yaw angle without affecting SteadiCam rig balance. The design allows full adjustment of the monitor to improve counterweight effect and viewing position, it includes our custom monitor yoke that mounts onto monitor balance point. The yoke is machined to achieve balanced side to side for the perfect COG mount. The TwinArm shown is mounted via its top bar to the ¾ key pocket on the post clamp. The mount's top bar can also be adapted to mount to most any post clamp. For low mode, turn the unit on the quick-release post clamp. The monitor can easily be removed for transport in its own case. Unlike other systems that change the yaw angle at the spigot/bridge-bracket or at the center post, we allow adjustment of the yaw angle at the base of the yoke and eliminate the weak mounting point at the spigot altogether. Spigot mounts that will not lock in place are known to spoil the balance of the rig when the monitor gets bumped. TwinArm features: - full flexible adjustment and positive locking with Upgrades Innovations ball-loc system at any adjustment point. - changing the yaw viewing angle at the monitor base and not at the post keeps the weight shift to a minimum. - scissor motion of the TwinArms lets you move the monitor not just up or down but also in or out to decrease or increase your panning inertia when needed. - Full pivoting monitor and yoke about vertical and horizontal axis for optimum monitor view. - For mounting your monitor with the yoke onto a camera, all you need is our 15mm Ball-Loc Clamp # 11856, it accepts a 15mm stud/rod. Alternative options are a 15mm stud or a 5/8 spigot adapter at the yoke base, which also has a 3/8 thread (offset by 1.3”) - weight: 600g without the post clamp. 6. Hey all, I'm in the market for a Marshall 6.5" Transflective monitor. I'd prefer it with AB or V-mount plates, but I'm not 100% set on just those two options, as most of the time, I'll power it off my sled. Is anyone interested in parting with this seemingly beloved treasure. (I don't know if it's just me, but they only seem to pop up on the second-hand market every so often, and never when I'm ready to pull the trigger.) So, just let me know if you're interested and maybe we can make something happen. Thanks everyone!
  7. I see a lot of refernces and endorsements of the Marshall 7" V-LCD70XHB-3GSDI, but no discussion of the more versatile and more capable Marshall 7" V-LCD70MD-3G The V-LCD70MD has higher resolution, lemo power jack, both SDI and HDMI input/output, lighter weight -- plus all the features of the other (800 nit brightness, flip, etc...). And it costs a little less. Is there any reason this model is not used as much on Steadicam? Thanks! Spec Summary: V-LCD70MD – 7” High Brightness Camera-Top Monitor with Modular Input / Output • High Brightness 800 nit LCD panel • 1024 x 600 panel • SDI Loop-Through • HDMI Loop-Through • Single MD slot for a variety of Inputs or Outputs • Adjustable LED Backlight • DSLR Ratio Adjustment • HDMI Auto Color Space and Ratio detect • Manual Gamma Adjustment • Image Flip • 1/4”-20 mounts on all sides • Variety of Markers, including user-adjustable • False Color • Peaking Filter • RGB Check Field / Field Detect • 15:9, 16:9, 4:3, Pixel-to-Pixel modes • 4 user-configurable function buttons • Scratch Resistant Protective Screen • RGB gain and bias control • Variety of User-Replaceable Battery Adapters available
