Hey, Quick question, which gimbal handles are Pro compatible? I know XCS and Artemis have the same standards, but I'm not sure about Baerbel, I saw a Pro gimbal handle on ebay and I'd like to swap it with my BB handle. Seasons greetings Nils

So its been good time now, and im ready to move up to the big rigs. Im flying loaded Alexa, EPIC, 45lb+ set ups weekly, but its a cheap knock off and is not going to cut it any longer. It's time to move up. What would anyone recommend for my first professional sled (with $$$ of course being the #1 factor here). Looking for something with dual AB mounts, 24v, solid LEMO taps for my Bartech and accessories. I'm looking to get a master series arm, and thereby also looking at the master sled (good pricing) but I'm worried it's not modular enough for future upgrades. Or would it be more beneficial to just get one and sell it later one down the road? Thank you.

XCS/PRO 2 Sled For Sale This is a standard def sled. I’m upgrading to all XCS. For sale for $12,500 is: DB2 Pro 2 Base with A/B mounts XCS 2” Post XCS Gimbal w/Ergo Handle Transvideo IIIa (not the Ultrabright) 14” XCS Monitor Rods and Monitor Bracket Gorelock Docking Bracket and Docking Ring Sled Case (28” x 32” x 12”, 30 lbs.) Post Tool Gimbal Tool Pro Jumper Blocks Terry West installed an amp in the base that gives about a half stop more on the monitor. Amp has a video-only BNC off the front. Terry also modified the base so that one battery will power the entire sled. Gorelock comes with an after market brace. Gorelock arm pin modified as shown. All mods done by Terry West and Joe Ortega at the old SL Cine site. This sled has never failed. The post and gimbal kick ass, a real pleasure to fly. Ships nationally or internationally at the buyer’s expense with or without the 30 lb. case. The money wired to my bank here in LA. The day it clears is the day the sled ships. Well, the title explains it all. A while ago i contacted XCS in order to ask about the compatibility of their ERGO handle with my Ultra2’s gimbal. Unfortunately the handle is incompatible with Tiffen gimbal design. I could very well buy the whole gimbal from XCS’ and have the ERGO handle on my Ultra2 as the XCS gimbal is compatible with 1.58 Tiffen post but replacing a perfectly good gimbal seemed excessive to me and I decided to drop the idea. Now, cruising in older forum posts (http://www.steadicam...13&hl=ergo&st=0), my desire to have an ergo handle on my rig flamed again. I just want to express that I’m a potential buyer if XCS (or someone else depending of intellectual property rights) would have made a Tiffen-compatible version of ERGO handle. And even better, if such product could have a stage remote cradle on it. I know some people will have something to say about the Tiffen incompatibility issues with other brands but this will be out of the subject. I’m aware that Tiffen’s product is more or less incompatible with other brands parts, but I bought my rig being fully aware of the trade-off. Meaning that I personally preferred what Tiffen has on their rigs better than the other options elsewhere. Now I want to have my cake and eat it too by putting an XCS ERGO handle on my Ultra2’s gimbal along with stage remote (and even compatible with G-series arm-post diameter) and don’t have to buy a whole new gimbal. Any thoughts on this subject?
