The overall visibility improves dramatically outdoors when you set the GAMMA setting to 1.0 instead of the normal 1.6 or 2.0. Somehow the transflective display works much better with that setting... and sorry, no it will not work on the MK-V version as it does not have the full menu option....no saturation, gamma, etc.....
