FS: PRO I Sled and Batteries

PLEASE NOTE: I plan on purchasing a new sled in the next few days, so I'm putting my sled up for sale. However, if the new sled falls through, I will no longer be selling this one, and will take down the ad.

Here's my PRO I sled, which has been an amazing starter rig for me. It's flown everything from DSLRs (with a huge weight plate) to fully-loaded RED ONE setups, and everything in between. I just wrapped a feature with it, and it held up well, even under the stress of an 18 day all-location feature.

It includes:

- Donkey Box 1

- Original PRO centerpost

- Original PRO battery hanger

- Marshall 651STX HDMI Monitor and yoke (a $1600 monitor, and a $250 yoke)

- 15mm Rod Monitor Mount (see condition note below)

- PRO to Marshall LCD cable

- Custom Foamed Case (well-worn, but very usable)

- 10 PRO Chocolate Bar batteries (all re-celled within the last 3 years or so)

- 2 PAG chargers

- 6 PRO Chocolate Bar to PAG adaptors

- Custom Foamed Case (well-worn, but very usable)

It DOES NOT INCLUDE the gimbal shown or the Gorelock docking collars. It would include a 3A Gimbal and wrap grip (which I would be getting with my new sled), and may include an older PRO docking bracket.

Condition notes:

This sled has seen a lot of use, and has had a lot of modifications over the years. Everything on it works, but some of it is rather well-worn, and there has been some custom wiring done (some of which I have undone). One battery's LCD readout has died. The battery still works fine, however. The 15mm rods for the monitor have a tiny bit of vibration when extended all the way out. Shouldn't be an issue at normal extension.

I paid $6000 for this rig, without a monitor (but with some other accessories) a year and a half ago.

I would like $6000 for the sled, monitor, and batteries, but I am open to offers. For the right price, I may also throw in a Decimator 2 and cables, so the rig is usable for HDSDI cameras.

The sled is located in Philadelphia, PA, and I will ship worldwide. I will gladly bring it anywhere on the east coast of the US for inspection, if you would like.

Just a quick note - I spent some time playing with the monitor rods tonight. Turns out some parts were loose. That killed the vibrations I was having pretty well. Still a hair of vibration at full extension, but totally usable at normal extensions. So, you get the full setup, including a good starter monitor bracket.

I believe in being really up front about things I'm selling. I'd much rather you know what you're getting before you buy it. I want you to be completely happy after you buy gear from me, so I put it all out there, so you can be a better informed buyer.

This is a good starter rig at a good price. If I can get this rig sold quickly (within a few weeks), I could be convinced to throw in some accessories. Contact me for more information!

Update: The rig now includes the MK-V Upgraded 3A gimbal, as shown on the sled, and a short dovetail. It does not include a docking bracket.

With these new additions, I'm asking $6500 with the monitor and upgraded gimbal, or $5500 without the monitor and rods. You won't find another comparable sled this cheap. It's a great starter rig, especially with the monitor.

Here are some new pictures, and an updated description. http://willsvideo.com/forsale/forsale/sled.html

New Update - Price drop!

The rig now no longer includes a monitor, and has a 3A monitor arm instead of the homemade one. Doesn't include a docking bracket. $5000 firm.

Updated pictures to come tomorrow once I get tired of flying my new sled around the backyard.
